Additional Information
VETO PRO PAC TOOL BAGS PRODUCT CARE AND MAINTENANCE
Keep the Zippers Clean & Lubricated
Over time, dirt and grit will “clog” the zipper coils preventing them from staying closed. To keep this from happening, clean and lubricate your zippers twice a year (more often if you work on a job site with a high amount of airborne debris). To clean the coils: Scrub them with soapy water; a tooth brush works very well. After scrubbing the coils, blow them out with an air hose to dislodge any other fine grit that didn’t dislodge with the brush. To lubricate the coils: Apply a silicone spray, beeswax or a zipper lubricant.Protect the Zippers From Sharp Objects and/or Excessive Heat
Any sharp object or heat source is capable of permanently damaging the zippers. Once a zipper coil is cut or singed the zipper will not function and in most cases is not repairable. Most of the cut zipper coils we see are the result of sharp tools stored inside the bag with the sharp side facing up. Make sure to keep the sharp edges of your tools facing down in your bag and away from the zipper coils.Don’t Overstuff the Bag
Overstuffing your tool bag will very likely cause significant stress on the zippers that is above and beyond what the bag was built for and will eventually cause the zipper(s) to separate. If you have to work hard to close your zipper(s), your tool bag is most likely overstuffed…proceed with caution!Video & Product Sell Sheet

I am an appliance repair tech. After using the Tech XL for over a decade now, hoisting that large and heavy bag onto my shoulders was taking a toll on my upper back. I decided recently to switch to the Tech MC and am loving it. I was able to squeeze all of the tools from my XL into the MC and eliminate all of that stress on my shoulders and back that comes with shoulder-carry. I saved something like 2 pounds.
However, there is one big downside – the big metal strap that connects the upper portion of the backpack straps to the handle during wear. When the sides are open, this big chunk of metal wants to hit things and drag on the floor. I am often working in kitchens with high-end wood floors and the last thing I need is a big metal buckle dragging and hitting floors and cabinets. I am thinking of taking some sort of strap and using it to attach that metal piece to the buckle on the inside of that panel so it will be held up above the floor. Another small downside is that while the outer panel has a built-in strap to hold the panel at a 90 when it is open, the inner one has no such strap, even thought there is a buckle in place as if they meant to put one there and just forgot. This is a head scratcher to me.
Otherwise love the bag.

For years I have been told to buy a Veto bag but I kept putting it off because I couldn’t afford one. I finally bit the bullet and bought the Tech Pac MC Backpack. When I first got it I was wishing I bought the larger bag because I didn’t think my tools would fit, but I was surprised that all 27lbs. Of my tools fit with room to spare because of the way the bag is laid out, kind of like stadium seating style.
I’ve had it for about 1 month now and I love it! My tools are very organized and easy to find and access. The bag is very sturdy and very well thought out. The majority of the weight is at the center of the bag which keeps it from falling over when bag is open. Lots of storage pockets everywhere. Highly recommend!

Best bag I have to date! I love this Veto Bag it’s awesome and well built! Everyone who is a technician in the field of whatever they do should own this bag! I highly recommend this bag for its size and convenience it’s amazing great work Veto!!!

Highly recommend this bag. I did quite a bit of research finding the perfect bag and this one definitely came out on top. The size is perfect for a tech that is always on the move. If you’re someone who would be using a backpack to carry all of your tools to a remote job site and spending a while there completing a project, I would go with the regular size backpack and not the MC. However, if you’re bouncing around a lot and not needing a crazy amount of larger sized tools, go with the MC.
The construction of the bag is great. There is no wasted space at all. The pockets have a really nice stretch to them so anything you put into them fit perfectly, but they also push out of the way if you want to fit something larger in front of the pocket instead.
There’s not a lot I can say that I don’t like about the bag, but if I really had to critique it, I would say that the zipper handles could really use some coating on them so they’re not clanking as you walk. But it’s a minor critique

I’ve only had this bag for a couple of weeks now and don’t know why I waited so long to get one. Absolutely love the backpack ! Great quality and well designed for my needs.

There are many back pack tool bags out there but none that are well thought out in ergonomics and design like the Tech Pac MC. The bag when loaded is extremely comfortable to carry around. Love it’s compact size but still manages to carry all that is necessary for service, repair and install work. I have had this bag almost two years and it is just as strong and durable as the day I first bought it. Thank you Veto for providing blue collar workers a bag made to withstand the rigors of the everyday work life.

I was always a cantilever tool box guy until I turned to the MC Tech backpack. Their is something to say when you can carry every tool you generally need and be hands free. It’s a game changer!!! Awesome product and would highly recommend any stubborn old school tool box guy, like myself, to change ways and invest in a Veto bag

So I really wanted to love this bag but I just can not. I owned the larger tech pac and downsized to the mct because of the weight. Loved that mct until I wanted just a little more room. Upgraded to the mc backpack. Big mistake. First off where the straps connect to the base is horrible. It has these metal slats riveted to the base that stick out just enough to stab you in the back every time you put it on. Ouch. The smaller size fits weird on my back and the base digs into my lower back. Then there’s the footprint. Open both sides and this thing is almost 3 feet wide with those straps laying on the floor trying to trip everyone that walks by. I work in restaurant kitchens and its just too big. Love my veto bags as I own 5 but this one was not a winner. Sold it a month after purchase and went with the tp-xl. Love it

I entered the hvac trade and was in the need for a tool bag , I was iffy on spending $260 on a tool bag when they’re so many options a whole lot cheaper , but I decided to go ahead and get it anyway, and boy am I glad I did . Very high quality ( worth every penny) and I will only use veto for tool bags from here on out without hesitation. Zippers are a big deal on tool bags , and these zippers are top notch . The only complaint I can make is the strap on the back that you have to unhook to get into the back side of the bag , but I cut that strap off and now it’s exactly how I want it and have no complaints

I got this bag to do electrical work, and I don’t carry a ton of tools. This bag was the perfect size for every hand tool I would need. The small pockets are great for bits, pencils/markers, etc. My one complaint is that for whatever reason it feels awkward to wear, perhaps a side effect of it being so compact. But it otherwise is a great way to store and carry tools.

Tech pac black out- the best bag that I’ve bought from veto, I started with the tech lc, than grabbed me a tech pac, unfortunately my work truck was broken into and my tech pac, a tp5b, and a bunch of tools were stolen from me. Its a total bummer because my tech pac was only about 2 months old at the time, along with quality tools, that I spent a lot of money on. So within a month of that happening, I was ready to buy another tech pac, due to the ease of use I had found in working with it, I went to Veto’s website and seen they were selling a tech oac blackout, which was slightly improved upon, the removable inserts, which was a great idea to me as an hvac tech that sometimes still installs. I could get different tools in different inserts. I also picked up their locks for the bags, which are excellent, as well as Veto’s hvac strap which is also very nice to hang gauges pretty much anywhere. I also got their pb4, and pb5 which are quality parts bags. And soon my TP-XL will arrive soon. I’m definitely going to be sticking with Veto pro pacs because quality is much more important to me these days.

The Tech Pack MC is my third Veto bag. My first was the standard Tech tool bag that I used for years. It is still in great shape, but I was getting a bad shoulder from hanging it off the same shoulder for years , so I picked up the smaller MC version. I enjoyed the smaller form factor and found it a bit easier on the body.
I now have the Tech Pack MC and this smaller Backpack has turned out to be even better than expected. It fits tools better than the standard MC pack due to the additional height , but the best thing about the backpack form factor is the ease on the body. No more shoulder pain, and I find it much safer for going up ladders and transitioning onto roofs from a ladder.
100% recommended from me!

I used to have Milwaukee ultimate backpack but always falls over. I was going to buy the bigger veto backpack but good thing this smaller one came out. Perfect size, doesn’t fall over, stays upright, very sturdy, has enough pockets for my tools.

I chose this bag because in size and weight it was the most adequate to carry tools and instruments to make repairs. Being a backpack you do not feel the full weight of what you carry over one shoulder, especially when the jobsite is far away from my car. With this bag I found the optimal way to organize my tools and instruments. It took me a couple of weeks to find the right balance between transported weight and tools needed for repairs, but I found it and that’s why I love the VETO bags.

This was my first Veto bag, almost bought the MCT and then this came out. The extra features are definitely worth it! The zipper pockets on the flaps add a huge amount of storage, and there is plenty of room for everything that I need for repairs and most installs.
I wasn’t sure about a backpack bag to begin with, walking into a customer’s house with a backpack on seems strange… but then your hands are free, your back takes less strain, and it’s easier to climb ladders. I’ve fit this bag on my back through attic accesses and tight spots that the larger backpack would never fit through!
Very pleased with this bag, thank you Roger for listening to your customers and continually innovating and improving!

There are many tool bags but this one is mine. I must master my tool bag as my tool bag is my life. Seriously this is the best bag I’ve owned. Organization and size is perfect. Quality is great and seems like it will last years.

Love this bag! I have the Tech LC but always liked the backpack I’ve seen others use. But I didn’t want the bulk. Well, this thing is perfect for me. I tend to stuff a tool bag to reduce trips so having a smaller size limits me from over doing it. I also noticed some small but cool improvements. Now I’m drooling to replace my mb2 with the new mb3.
