The TECH PAC MC BLACKOUT small backpack bag is a stealth version of the popular TECH PAC MC small backpack featuring Veto Pro Pac’s proprietary V-SWAP™ system. Comes with Tool and Meter Panels. Laptop and Bulk Storage Tool Panels are available and sold separately and can be swapped-out enabling tool, gear or job specific storage solutions. Additional Tool and Meter Panels can also be purchased separately to increase flexibility in use of the bag. VETO PRO PAC TOOL BAGS PRODUCT CARE AND MAINTENANCE
Keep the Zippers Clean & Lubricated
Over time, dirt and grit will “clog” the zipper coils preventing them from staying closed. To keep this from happening, clean and lubricate your zippers twice a year (more often if you work on a job site with a high amount of airborne debris). To clean the coils: Scrub them with soapy water; a tooth brush works very well. After scrubbing the coils, blow them out with an air hose to dislodge any other fine grit that didn’t dislodge with the brush. To lubricate the coils: Apply a silicone spray, beeswax or a zipper lubricant.Protect the Zippers From Sharp Objects and/or Excessive Heat
Any sharp object or heat source is capable of permanently damaging the zippers. Once a zipper coil is cut or singed the zipper will not function and in most cases is not repairable. Most of the cut zipper coils we see are the result of sharp tools stored inside the bag with the sharp side facing up. Make sure to keep the sharp edges of your tools facing down in your bag and away from the zipper coils.Don’t Overstuff the Bag
Overstuffing your tool bag will very likely cause significant stress on the zippers that is above and beyond what the bag was built for and will eventually cause the zipper(s) to separate. If you have to work hard to close your zipper(s), your tool bag is most likely overstuffed… proceed with caution!Video & Product Sell Sheet

This is my first Veto product. The backpack is really high quality and very comfortable to wear. I’m an electrician and I found this was the perfect size for the amount of tools I like to carry around. If you are one of those guys that needs it all right there, I recommend the larger bag. I can see this bag lasting a long time. Also, it was a really great Idea to be able to swap out the panels. Mostly because that’s usually what goes first in a bag. I will definitely be back to try more products. I highly recommend this backpack.

I’m a commercial HVAC/R technician by trade and I’m always going up and down ladder wells and extension ladders for roof access. This bag is perfect in size and balance without sacrificing storage space. The construction is extremely well built and should last years before considering a replacement. With the dual design I’m able to fit all my hand tools in the front and refrigeration tools in the back to include my 6 piece wireless Job Link charge and air kit. Fully loaded the bag weighs approximately 30 LBS. I liked the product’s design and durability and especially like the hard waterproof bottom. I decided on purchasing the MB3 with an additional shoulder strap as a standalone diagnostics bag to reduce my intial overall weight when just performing a simple diagnostic . The MB3 holds my clamp meter, M12 Impact, and everything I need for an initial diagnostics. The way I do it now the MB3 comes out first and if the situation calls for a full load then I grab the Tech Pac MC. With both bags onsite I rarely have to go back to the work vehicle for additional tools, and only find myself going back to the work vehicle to grab parts or specialty tools. By having both bags I can leave one on the ground level and one on the roof and just grab from the Tec Pac MC and transfer what I need over to the MB3 for when I’m going back and forth between the roof and the ground floor. When I’m working with other technicians they have asked me if I have x said tool and to their surprise normally I do. I have also received multiple positive comments from both fellow technicians as well as customers on how nice my bag looks. Veto will always be my place shop when looking for a quality bag that is built with the user in mind and the durability that user’s want. The price may be high but you get what you pay for and my money has been well spent.

Absolutely love this bag, HVAC commercial tech so I’m up and down extension ladders all day and this bag keeps my hands free going up and down as needed and it holds all the tools I need for normal diagnostics and maintenance

I am a hvac technician, this bag is very comfortable for me daily service, when I go up to the roof is easier than hand carry bag. Also, the weight and size and space is prefect. But the weakness is no hook for this bag to hangup in the car.

Love this bag. Much smaller than my other veto backpack. The smaller size is so much better when I’m climbing a ladder well. I use the tape measure clip to hold my other smaller tech pouches which gives me a little more room but allows me to grab and go for my essentials.

If you’re debating it buy it this is my second tech pack I had the blackout techpak that was stolen out of my girlfriends car so I replaced it on my birthday with the smaller version since my work had changed since the original purchase. Even being the smaller one it still had plenty of room for all my tools and is built like a tank. I will never spend my money on another brand of bag again, my hat is still off to everyone at veto. Well for starters i am not sponsored by veto in any way but i wish i was the tech pac mc blackout looks great and is amazing, it holds all my tools , is easy to carry and very comfortable. the bags 2 sided design with plenty of space for everything from small tools to volt meters is great. It also has a reinforced hanging strap great for working in a lift. Five stars all the way around
