Designed as an everyday carry backpack, the EDC PAC LCB inherits its D.N.A. from Veto Pro Pac’s always dependable TECH PAC backpack tool bag. Just like the TECH PAC, the EDC PAC LCB is built with durability and stability in mind. A waterproof injection molded polypropylene base and rugged body structure provide allow the EDC PAC LCB to stand up-right just like the professional backpack toolbag. Up front is a vast, open compartment perfect for supplies, gear and other everyday essentials. A separate semi-rigid zippered compartment at the top is designed for protecting sunglasses or safety glasses. Two additional zippered front pockets offer several organizational compartments for technology or personal items. In back is a dedicated laptop compartment with a padded sleeve that can accommodate 15″ laptops and some 17″ laptops – while manufacturers have different dimensions for 17″ laptops, as a guide, as of 4/17/2023, the laptop compartment fits a 17″ Mac (Height: .95in/2.41cm; Width: 15.47in/39.29cm; Depth: 10.51in/26.70cm) and the 17″ Dell Precision 5770 (Height: .77in/1.95cm; Width: 14.75in/27.5cm; Depth” 9.76in/24.81cm) while it will not fit the Dell Precision 7780, but the dimensions of those and other laptops are subject to change without our knowledge. Large, zippered side pockets expand to accommodate large water bottles or can remain zipped tight for securing any other daily needs. Finally, like all Veto bags, the EDC PAC LCB features a familiar solidly attached haul handle to confidently grab when it’s time to bug out.

Love this bag. Like there othere bags, it feels built to last. The blackout bag is rugged enough for a job site, but can be worn into the office. This truly holds my office in it. Plenty of room for files, notepads, cables, mobile hotspot, headphones, a portable monitor, pens, flashlight in the side pocket, umbrella in the other, and small tools. I use the safety glasses pocket to hold my mouse and ID badge.
The laptop sleeve fits a large laptop, and I like that it is completely separate from the other compartments, so you can pull your laptop out without digging through folders and notebooks if it were in the main compartment. (Or messing up your papers trying to put it back in like my old bag.)
I was worried the straps wouldn’t feel as sturdy as the other bags with the extra reinforcement, but i feel like it’s well made and can withstand a heavy load. The bag is heavy on its own, but worth it because of the durable materials.
It’s about as big as you can get for a personal item on an airplane. Almost too big if you load the side pockets. I had it on a number of flights and never had to check it or put it in the overhead bin.
Three minor critiques – suggestions for an updated model more than anything – molle loops on the shoulder straps would be nice, and I like the hook the other bags have, there have been a few times i’ve wished this bag had one too, and it would be nice if the main compartment has inserts like some of their other bags. I’m still looking for a way to keep my file folders and other things organized in the large main compartment.
I’ve been lugging it around to job sites and the office for a month now and it looks like the day I got it, well plus some dust and dirt.
Worth the money for sure.

The quality of this pac is fantastic. With top notch internal pockets, to the zippers, and the side pockets are unrivaled in my book. One of my favorite things about the bag is it simply doesn’t fall over while standing. Great workstation.

Excellent bag, overall.
There is more than enough space, numerous pockets and D-rings. Like all Veto bags bags, with great storage the EDC gets heavy very quickly, too heavy. I found because of the space available I loaded it up with items I never needed to carry daily. The different pockets and elastic strips are great for all those little items one may, or may not need to have all the time. The main opening is more than large enough to carry extra clothes, food, mine ended up been basically empty. So for these reasons I did away with it as my EDC bag and now use a MB3B, which carries everything I need for 7 lbs less weight.
As a side note the large number of zippers, and zipper pulls makes the bag sound like your carrying around a bag covered in bells. I had to cut the zipper pulls of and replace them with paracord.
I’ll keep it, it is a great bag, it would be nice if there was another model 3/4 the size, a more streamline bag with less bag weight overall.

I’ve had this bag for about 6 months now. Started a new job that involves traveling and this has to be one of the best decisions I’ve made. The all black is something I’ve been wanting for a while. I finally was able to get with a company that bought me anything I needed. The price is steep for a backpack but well worth it. I may not be as rough as others with it but it’s a solid and quality bag. No complaint. The compartment for my laptop is perfect. I can fit a 15.6″ laptop comfortably along with an iPad mini. All other compartments are the perfect size as well.

Very well made backpack. Heavy duty but a good weight. Built to last for sure. Don’t think about it just buy it. Definitely worth every penny. I take mine with me everyday. Can’t beat a 5 year warranty.
