Designed as an everyday carry backpack, the EDC PAC LCB inherits its D.N.A. from Veto Pro Pac’s always dependable TECH PAC backpack tool bag. Just like the TECH PAC, the EDC PAC LCB is built with durability and stability in mind. A waterproof injection molded polypropylene base and rugged body structure allow the EDC PAC LCB to stand up-right just like the professional backpack toolbag. Up front is a vast, open compartment perfect for supplies, gear and other everyday essentials. A separate semi-rigid zippered compartment at the top is designed for protecting sunglasses or safety glasses. Two additional zippered front pockets offer several organizational compartments for technology or personal items. In back is a dedicated laptop compartment with a padded sleeve that can accommodate 15″ laptops and some 17″ laptops – while manufacturers have different dimensions for 17″ laptops, as a guide, as of 4/17/2023, the laptop compartment fits a 17″ Mac (Height: .95in/2.41cm; Width: 15.47in/39.29cm; Depth: 10.51in/26.70cm) and the 17″ Dell Precision 5770 (Height: .77in/1.95cm; Width: 14.75in/27.5cm; Depth” 9.76in/24.81cm) while it will not fit the Dell Precision 7780, but the dimensions of those and other laptops are subject to change without our knowledge. Large, zippered side pockets expand to accommodate large water bottles or can remain zipped tight for securing any other daily needs. Convert your EDC PAC LCB MIDNIGHT for use as a tool bag with the EDC PAC Utility Insert (sold separately). Finally, like all Veto bags, the EDC PAC LCB features a familiar solidly attached haul handle to confidently grab when it’s time to bug out.

VETO PRO PAC TOOL BAGS PRODUCT CARE AND MAINTENANCE
Keep the Zippers Clean & Lubricated
Over time, dirt and grit will “clog” the zipper coils preventing them from staying closed. To keep this from happening, clean and lubricate your zippers twice a year (more often if you work on a job site with a high amount of airborne debris). To clean the coils: Scrub them with soapy water; a tooth brush works very well. After scrubbing the coils, blow them out with an air hose to dislodge any other fine grit that didn’t dislodge with the brush. To lubricate the coils: Apply a silicone spray, beeswax or a zipper lubricant.Protect the Zippers From Sharp Objects and/or Excessive Heat
Any sharp object or heat source is capable of permanently damaging the zippers. Once a zipper coil is cut or singed the zipper will not function and in most cases is not repairable. Most of the cut zipper coils we see are the result of sharp tools stored inside the bag with the sharp side facing up. Make sure to keep the sharp edges of your tools facing down in your bag and away from the zipper coils.Don’t Overstuff the Bag
Overstuffing your tool bag will very likely cause significant stress on the zippers that is above and beyond what the bag was built for and will eventually cause the zipper(s) to separate. This bag is amazing. the back laptop pocket is very snug and holds laptop firmly in place. Great for the average laptop. Holds my surface book 15″ well. Have to store my Dell rugged in the main compartment as its to bulky for the actual laptop pocket. The outside pockets are great for meters and a couple screwdrivers.

Just received mine on 03/09/2026, been wanting to get it to store my laptop and other devices, the backpack is very sturdy and offers excellent protection, I can place my bag with confidence knowing not even water will filtrate, the bag looks awesome and fits so many things, I will consider purchasing the V-swap panels that are compatible in the future, I recommend the product.

Great Lightweight alternative to Tech Pac.
I work as a Variable Frequency Drive Technician in the uk and was given my cousins old Tech Pac. I have already reviewed this and explained that it is the best tool bag. Only downside is that as I tend to carry around the whole kitchen sink it doesn’t do my back much good. Therefore for more lightweight work I decided to purchase the EDC Pac.
Delivery was prompt and first opening of the pac was a great experience. Bag is extremely light and I cannnot explain how comfortable this bag is. Even well loaded the bag still feels great on my back.
When I’m servicing the VFD’s I have to use a De Walt DCV100 leaf blower. Whilst the thing collapses somewhat for transport, with the Tech Pac I would have to clip it to the back of the Pac due to the centre panel. The EDC Pac is able to take my Wera set, Drill, two 5.0ah batteries Fluke meters and various leads and the DCV100 blower.
This bag compliments the Tech Pac excellently as an office / light work bag.
