Additional Information
VETO PRO PAC TOOL BAGS PRODUCT CARE AND MAINTENANCE
Keep the Zippers Clean & Lubricated
Over time, dirt and grit will “clog” the zipper coils preventing them from staying closed. To keep this from happening, clean and lubricate your zippers twice a year (more often if you work on a job site with a high amount of airborne debris). To clean the coils: Scrub them with soapy water; a tooth brush works very well. After scrubbing the coils, blow them out with an air hose to dislodge any other fine grit that didn’t dislodge with the brush. To lubricate the coils: Apply a silicone spray, beeswax or a zipper lubricant.Protect the Zippers From Sharp Objects and/or Excessive Heat
Any sharp object or heat source is capable of permanently damaging the zippers. Once a zipper coil is cut or singed the zipper will not function and in most cases is not repairable. Most of the cut zipper coils we see are the result of sharp tools stored inside the bag with the sharp side facing up. Make sure to keep the sharp edges of your tools facing down in your bag and away from the zipper coils.Don’t Overstuff the Bag
Overstuffing your tool bag will very likely cause significant stress on the zippers that is above and beyond what the bag was built for and will eventually cause the zipper(s) to separate. If you have to work hard to close your zipper(s), your tool bag is most likely overstuffed… proceed with caution!Video & Product Sell Sheet

Let me preface this one by saying I have 5 Veto bags so far and really like them. I’m a commercial HVAC tech. Getting that balance of size/weight is tough.
I purchased this bag from a local dealer and drove it for a couple weeks to give it a proper test.
This bag misses the mark. I was hoping this bag would be the perfect upgrade to my daily driver MB3. I really like the MB3, just wished it had a plastic bottom to protect it from water and allow it to stand up straight. The MB3B seemed like it would address this issue. It does not. It falls over just as much, if not more. The position of the base just seems to have a very poor center of gravity. What’s the point of having a plastic base if it’s going to fall over in the water/snow anyway? This is my biggest gripe and disappointment.
The other issue is the two small internal pouches. One inside the middle zippered opening and the other inside the large front flap. Both of these are closed with elastic. The elastic is pretty weak, especially the one in the middle and this is when the bag is new. Just not strong enough to hold what I put in them, i.e. meter probes/tips. Things fall out when accessing the bag or when it falls over.
Also, I found that for my workflow, I much preferred having an integrated zippered pouch like the one on the MB3.
These annoyances do not offset the little extra weight and bulk of the bag. So I’ve had to move back to the MB3. Now I’m stuck with a bag my supplier won’t take back, but I suppose that’s how it goes sometimes. Am I salty…? maybe a bit. 🙂
So, I hope this helps with someone like myself when considering this bag. Maybe take a look at the MB4B or the MB3.

Okay. I have been researching these bags over the last few years from starting my HVAC sheet metal position to currently being a HVAC service technician. I first purchased the TP-XxL found it extremely useful but big when hauling a ladder. Downsized to a mb2 and enjoyed it for the size. When I purchased this bag the Mb3b is the perfect not too big not too Small bag for carrying everything from wireless probes and all my hand tools and air probes to complete my job. Added the pb5 bags to carry my monomers if I’m going under a home. and wire nuts and other connectors for low voltage and 240 connections. My bag makes me happy . It can be heavy or it can be light . My suggestion is it’s worth the money and if you use feildpiece products the wireless clamps fit in a pocket behind the padded Unser to give you more room so no hindrances. It’s pricey but so are your tools . Thanks for the bags and quality veto

This “little bag” holds a $h!# tone of tools! I’ve used it for service calls, scheduled maintenance, oil changes, repairs. You can stuff this thing with soooo many tools. I love it because it has all the large front and rear pockets are so large and you can fit all your common tools and then just swap the inside to whatever task you have. In the outside pockets alone I had a full set of wrenches, knife, scurries, full set or screwdrivers, diagonal cutters, needle nose pliers, a milwaukee extended reach ratchet, a flashlight, a set of sockets, a pair of cobra pliers and pliers wrenches, stubby screw driver, stubby ratchet, all key set and on the inside I had extra batteries, battery tester, oil filter wrenches, zip ties, etc etc. this thing is a little beast! Amazing bag!

I have had the MB and MB2 bags as my diagnostic bags for a few years now and love them both. I kind of out grew each one as I customized my load out so now I run the MB3B. I have my Klein multimeter, Klein clampmeter, Klein network tester and a fieldpiece megohmeter in the larger meter section. It is designed for meters and a few tools so you don’t get vertical tool storage. I simply inserted my small leather tool pouch into the flap covered rear pocket and that makes all the vertical pockets I need. Some of the best features is the larger handle and the solid base so it will stand on its own. Great bag to carry around on a daily basis for diagnostic and trouble calls. It’s light enough after being loaded so it is not too tiring to carry. I love it after using it a few months. If you’re thinking about getting one, just get it. I have six veto pro pac bags and use them all.

I’d go out on a limb and say this is the best/most useful veto bag. I use this bag as my “common tools” bag. We all have tools that are typically used from job to job. Screwdrivers, sockets, wrenches, flashlight, Allen keys, pen, markers, etc. I filled this bag with a socket set, screwdriver, flashlight, wrench set, stripper, crimpers, cutters, needle nose, water pump pliers, flashlight, Allen keys, a 6.0 ah m12 battery, a king reach magnet tool, small watch, small adjustable, stuff by screwdriver, meter leads, knife, pens pencils, scissors. I even have a dead blow hammer, my milwaukee m12 extended reach ratchet with battery and an 18” snap on watt get in the outside side pocket. If I need a meter, I clip it onto a D-ring at the side of the bag. I can do 95% of my jobs with just this bag. Then I have my tech xl as my major repairs bag and am currently awaiting a back order of the tp-xxl for my “startup tools” bag as I need a laptop area. There I got a deccent bag that I do t really care about for my oil change and coolant tools lol. But this bag…is the foundation of my tools and work bags. Get one! You will not regret it. No one makes bags like VETO. Make no mistake, They’re worth every penny!

New addition to my Veto bags therefore I cannot make comments regarding long service use. Use it as a drill and meter bag. M12 driver and M12 hammer drill fit perfectly in the side pockets with the smaller 2.0AH batteries connected to the tools. Meters (2 – clamp and tone/probe) are still in their cases using the internal pocket and divider to separate them.
Drill bits are in a plastic tote which easily slips in the rear pocket. Would suggest keeping smaller items in the front top pocket. Seems to allow easier access to the internal compartment this way. Veto is a top quality bag!

Perfect so for service work in Hvac. Only complaint is I want more/deeper pockets on it

Great bag ! Very well built great quality and craftsmanship. I work on overhead cranes in all different environments from acid to steel mill melt shops. And extreme temperatures. And these bags stand up through it all. I use this one for my welding bag. To carry weld rod and hammer wore brush and other accessories. Throughout the years I have tried just about every brand out there and veto propac beats them all 100 fold. They are on the high end of the price tag but they are well worth every penny. And their warranty and customer service is the best as well. Only used the warranty once and it was my own fault I broke the zipper. Which was hard to do. But their no down time warranty is fantastic. I highly recommend veto pro pac.

The bag is absolutely top quality as all Veto products.
My multifunctional test meter fits in it just right. Holds all the leads I need in a day to day basis.
Nice to carry and plenty of space for the accessories and iPad.
I was a bit sceptical about the size but turns out to be spot on for me.
Fully recommend the item.

This was the first bag I purchased and I have to say it has been more than I could have ever expected! The first time I got to see a veto bag in person I knew I wanted one but finally getting one and using it has been amazing. No one will convince me that you can make a better quality bag than what y’all are making now. Every time I mention I bought a veto pro Pac bag people know the name but say, those are expensive! Yes they cost more than a cheap bag but when they are on their 10th bag….lol and mine is still going strong they have spent more than me and mine is better all around any way! I will say one thing for sure, I will never again spend my money on another bag unless it is a Veto! Ps I have bought my second too and love it just as much, the “MB”.
