Veto Pro Pac’s Tech MCT tool bag is a compact, yet fully featured service, repair or installation tool organizer that features everything you have come to expect from Veto Pro Pac: Veto Pro Pac’s patented center panel, heavy duty construction and stabilizing injection molded waterproof base that keeps tools dry, even in the nastiest of conditions.
With 44 pockets inside and out and a center panel design, the Tech MCT has two storage bays with ample room for hand tools, meters, and a compact cordless drill, as well as smaller tool and accessories. It also includes D-rings, bit extension and memory stick pockets, and a stainless steel tape clip as well as a quick access outside pocket for drill bit extensions and small items. An over-molded ergonomic grip and a 3″ wide padded shoulder strap provide comfort for a potential load of 50 tools.

While the MC offers basic features, many customers asked us to complement the MC with a fully featured Tech Series style version that also accommodated long shank tools. Keep the Zippers Clean & Lubricated
Over time, dirt and grit will “clog” the zipper coils preventing them from staying closed. To keep this from happening, clean and lubricate your zippers twice a year (more often if you work on a job site with a high amount of airborne debris). To clean the coils: Scrub them with soapy water; a tooth brush works very well. After scrubbing the coils, blow them out with an air hose to dislodge any other fine grit that didn’t dislodge with the brush. To lubricate the coils: Apply a silicone spray, beeswax or a zipper lubricant.Protect the Zippers From Sharp Objects and/or Excessive Heat
Any sharp object or heat source is capable of permanently damaging the zippers. Once a zipper coil is cut or singed the zipper will not function and in most cases is not repairable. Most of the cut zipper coils we see are the result of sharp tools stored inside the bag with the sharp side facing up. Make sure to keep the sharp edges of your tools facing down in your bag and away from the zipper coils.Don’t Overstuff the Bag
Overstuffing your tool bag will very likely cause significant stress on the zippers that is above and beyond what the bag was built for and will eventually cause the zipper(s) to separate. I received my bag about a month ago.
I have started building my daily carry tool mix.
This bag is intended to replace the 8 bags and pack out pieces in the back of the truck. I carry too many tools.
So far it is what I needed. I can throw it in the trunk for a trip and be ready for most minor repairs.
Only suggestion now is the addition of a D Ring on the inside of each compartment off to the side. Sewn to the top edge of the bag.

I was tired of buying cheaper tool bags that would always end up ripping / zipper breaking so I decided to go with a veto bags and haven’t looked back since. Great quality bag with plenty of storage for what I need. D rings give you additional things to attach to the bag. The bag is on the heavier side overall but manageable. Seems like the bag will hold up for many years

I bought the Tech Mct about a month ago. I saw a co worker had purchased one and after checking it out I really appreciated how well it was made. I was skeptical a out spending so much on a tool bag but compared to other tool bags that are all getting pretty expensive. I ended up buying one and don’t regret it one bit. It’s the most durable and well made bag I have owned. All my co workers like it and also other job sites workers ha e said they will purchase one after seeing mine. I really like how compact the bag is yet very durable and I am a le to pack quite a bit of tools inside. I would definitely recommend this bag to anyone who is searching for a great durable compact stylish tool bag.

Seems they focused on making it so tough, it ended up being a little heavy and the materials a little too stiff. Still, it is a buy for life product it would seem for a moderate user like myself who will reach for it a couple times a week. A M18 impact with the 2 battery barely fits in one side along with four sets of medium-sized pliers. I load a set of plier wrenches, cobras, screwdrivers, taperolls, zipties, diagonal cutters, flashlight and some other tools and it is a perfect fit. Just a little thinner material, a carbon fiber base on the black series and get some weight out of the product. The black should be a lightweight, stripped down version. A bit less sturdy strap, maybe smaller size zipper pulls. Delete smaller pockets and dividers. carbon fiber handle. This is a grab and go bag, so it goes for the ride up ladders, in tight cabinets, for long walks accross big facilities, up stairs etc., so weight is a factor. The black should also look premium. Right now it is just black with custom panels.
All that being said, there isn’t a different bag I would take over this one for light grab and go facility maintenance.

My profession is HVAC, Tech/Install. Love my MCT-Tech bag. All my tools are organized, nothing falls out. It’s light, I’m not wearing my self out carrying it in and out of clients homes and businesses. It’s not bulky, I can easily carry it in tight areas and up ladders. Veto is the greatest bags on the market today they preform well and look professional not cheap.

just a little bigger is MUCH BETTER! I have had the TECH-MC for just under a year and when I realized that TECH-MCT was just a bit taller I was able to transfer my frequently used tools into my new bag and close the zipper all the way, it may not seem like a big deal to some but it does to me! now i am looking at the TECH PAC MC BACKPACK TOOL BAG or the MB5B Tool Bag as its just a little smaller than my TECH PAC MC BACKPACK TOOL BAG.

This tool bag is top notch in my opinion. I have yet to come across anything better than Veto. With that being said the bag is very expensive for its size. It really does seem to swallow up more tools than anything of similar size. I think this bag would benefit from having a holding clip for the shoulder strap like the larger bags. Very pleased with the number of tool pockets, the more the better. This is my second Veto bag. My first was a tech XL. I plan on purchasing a tech LC in the future. They are a fair deal with the spring promotion. Once you swallow the initial sticker shock you’ll enjoy the product with no regrets.

I got mine for service calls, one side is insulated tools and the other is standard tools. I was kinda ify about buying a pricey tool bag but, my buddy has been toting his for years. No regrets and wish I had done it sooner.

I work in HVAC-R and use the Tech- MCT daily. This bag is a perfect size and perfect weight. All of the daily use hand tools fit in this thing. My only gripe with this bag is the three zipper pockets. They are about 3inces deep but thin, they’re fine for your various impact driver bits, but not much else. Small things like screws, crimp connectors, etc, are a pain to dig out.
I bought this bag on Dec 15, 2016. The zippers have since failed on both sides, and the few places I’ve taken it to wanted too much or wouldn’t do that repair. This bag lasted longer than I thought it would. Other than the zippers failing, it is in very good condition. Will be ordering a new one. Love this bag.

Absolutely love this bag. Bought it to replace a Lennox tool bag that the bottom fell out of. Now Veto bags are all that I buy just because they are practically bulletproof. They keep my tools dry in the worst of conditions. My tools stay in place even if it is dropped and the bottom won’t fall out because it is hard plastic. I will continue to buy Veto bags and refer them to everyone I work around in the future.

This bag is great for service and installations. I do mostly residential and light commercial. It not too big, but large enough to carry most of what you need without becoming a catch all. I don’t really do shoulder straps, I like that it came with one, it’s just not for me. That being said, this bag carries so well. It is so well balanced and stays close to your body when carrying by the handle. I’ve carried the OT-LC, TECH-LC, and TECH -XL. Granted they aren’t the same, all larger, but the MCT is so well balanced and it makes a difference carrying it long distance. Veto makes top quality bags and their warranty is great. Follow the instructions as far as cleaning out the zippers and lubing them, it really makes a difference. I use the loop for the shoulder strap to hold my hammer, it frees up a lot of space in the bag. I really like the extra height of this bag for getting long shank screwdrivers and other tools in it. Bottom line, I’d buy again and again.

I wanted to use it for awhile before I wrote a review but the short time that I have had it I absolutely love it. I like to storage and the fact that I can lock it is an absolute plus. I am an apartment maintenance technician and everything that I use daily all fits and I was able to add a few tools and its lighter than my other bag. Its very durable and the 5 year warranty is a great peice of mind. I would highly recommend this or any of the other items that they carry to anyone.

Love how it fits all my tools and locks can be used if needed. I do have mostly multi tools less to carry and does fit my Dewalt impact driver with still more space to give but this is just my every day carry. Handle is very comfortable. Shoulder strap is great but wouldn’t suggest long distance for your back. Small foot print and doesn’t move around when doing quick turns in my truck. Love the little button trick to leave open for quick access. Overall worth the purchase so far.

Had this bag for a few months now and I can’t belive I didn’t pull the trigger any sooner. Compact, solid, durable and lightweight. Love the fact that it has tons of pockets, bit holders, separators and liners to have your tools upright. I work in HVAC and this is perfect for my service tools, take everything at once. Bottom pan is waterproof and its perfect for my needs, zippers are solid and the handle is great! Even comes with a shoulder strap! If your thinking about it, just buy!! Won’t regret!

Awesome tool bag ! Easily fits all the tools on the IBEW tool list and a few extras like gloves, glasses, a tool tether or two….
I can even fit by Klein hammer in it by stands it upright in the center between two of the tool pockets.
Super durable materials and stout zipper will ensure years of use outta this bag.

This is a excellent bag. I’m a Electrcian and this makes for a perfect service bag. I was a little hesitant in the beginning because of the price but after watching lots of videos, I knew this was the bag to store my tools in. I promise others that this product is worth every dime and you will not be disappointed. The bag is a grear quality bag. It has a sturdy bottom base , pockets are great for longer tools, and the stainless steel tape click is well designed. Roger put a lot of thought into designing these products. The only concern that I had with my bag was that my zippers were a little stiff but I’m sure some zipper lubricant is all it needs. I love my Veto bag, I can’t wait to fill up every pocket with top quality tools.

I am going to have to be monitored by my wife because of this new bag. These bags are like quality tools… you can’t have too many.
* Quality- where do I start? I’ve NEVER seen quality like I see in my new MCT! I’m convinced I could drop this out of an airplane and this bag would not only survive but pass the test with flying colors.
* Storage- multiple well laid out pockets to store all the HVAC tools I need. Just the right size.
* Carrying ability- BEST handle ever. Read about it. The 3″ padded shoulder strap that I use is the best hands down.

Very happy with this bag! I am easily able to reach and put back all my tools quickly. Other bags I have had that organize your tools are always hard to get tolls back in the bag where you had them. Took me a while to be prepared to pay the price this bag sales for! So glad I finally did! So well made and so well set up! Every tool is always to hand and easy to locate every time! Holds So much more than you you think it would and still makes it easy to get tools in and out!!
Would love to be able to fit my hammer inside the bag but to be honest hanging through one of the outer d rings is not really an issue.
I have already been looking at maybe getting a veto tool pouch! And this coming from someone who originally was not prepared to pay the prices! Quality of the goods well out weigh the cost! Plus the 5 year warranty helps for peace of

I have been looking at these bags for what seems like forever and was finally able to get one and I chose to get the MCT. These bags really are everything that you want them to be. I have had my bag for about week and I could not be happier with it. I am already planning on getting my next one and really that is the only bad thing about them is they have so many amazing looking bags that you want to try them all. I highly recommend veto bags to anyone that cares about their tools and the work they do. We have got a lot of variety for the hvac service techs, I would like to see a specialty bag made for hvac installers.

I am an HVAC service tech. I just recently purchased this bag. I’ve used it for just this past week and so far it’s great. I am able to fit all my tools in it with a few exceptions. I do have to keep my multimeter and manometer on the outside using the tape strap running through the loop of their respective cases as there simply isn’t anywhere for me to put them while still fitting the rest of my tools. I was also slightly spoiled with my previous backpack tool bag as I had somewhere to store my screw gun. Other than those small issues, this is a well made bag that I anticipate working well for quite some time. Very glad with my purchase and would recommend.

Mechanical shift Engineer , working in a large bakery and having to carry various hand tools several miles per day on foot means i carry the bare minimum i can get away with , even so, previously this has meant a big bulky cumbersome bag or something with wheels always half empty, which isn’t really great with lots of stairs we have , I found the Veto Tech Mct after a google search for something compact as all the smaller bags i’ve tried end up overloaded and haven’t lasted more than a few months. Yes , the MCT was expensive , but WOW , it can fit so much kit and is extremely well made and still carryable . great job Veto !! i love it

After more than 25 years working as a phone technician I finally get the best tool case
for my tools and to get done my technical work.
I have gone through metal tool boxes, plastic of very good brands and designs, but at the end I kept
with a canvas and nylon case with internal pallets specially designed for my phone tools
and test equipment such as toner, test set, inductive amp and others.
I thought I had the great solution and that I was working as comfortable as possible but I was so wrong.
Veto had designed a tool case with features specially created for technicians by technicians.
I will only say that during a day of work I feel as if a technician with a lot of experience is all the time by my side helping me to cope with all the possible discomforts that may arise from the typical daily work.
To give some examples, when I am installing a telephone jack, the Veto Tech MCT case is next to me in a way that is very easy to find, select, take and put back any tool to its place.
The internal space is very compact and at the same time you can always find a place and add an additional tool, I will always find a place for it.
The weight is adequate taking into account the quality of the materials and the size of the case.
The wide design at the base and narrow at the top makes it very comfortable to carry with the strap over the shoulder.
When I am in a dusty or damp floor area using a canvas tool case usually opens wide and picks up dust or moisture from the floor but this does not happen with Veto Tech MCT. The cover flaps never touch the floor. Its central pouch design makes it a smart tool case.
Finally, I will say that by working in a more logical and intelligent way, one inevitably focuses more on the work, the result being greater effectiveness and production.

Para dar unos ejemplos, cuando me encuentro instalando un conector telefonico en una oficina el maletin Veto Tech MCT esta a mi lado de una manera que es muy facil el encontrar seleccionar tomar y devolver a su lugar cualquier herramienta.
El espacio interno es muy compacto y al mismo tiempo siempre se puede a#adir una herramienta adicional, siempre conseguire un lugar para ella.
El peso es el adecuado tomando en consideracion la calidad de los materiales y el tama#o del maletin.
El dise#o ancho en la base y angosto en la parte alta hace muy comodo el cargarlo con la banda sobre el hombro.
Cuando estoy en un area con polvo o piso humedo generalmente un maletin de canvas o cordura se abre y recoje polvo o humedad del piso pero esto no sucede con Veto Tech MCT al no dejar tocar el piso las solapas laterales. Su dise#o de pouches centrales lo hace un maletin inteligente.
Finalmente dire que al trabajar de una manera mas logica e inteligente inevitablemente uno se concentra mas en el trabajo siendo el resultado mayor efectividad y produccion.
Todavia le encuentro ventajas sobre el maletin que yo pensaba que seria el definitivo para el resto de mi vida laboral.

Tied for the best bag I’ve ever owned. Veto xxl-f was the other. I work in grocery refrigeration installation and absolutely love this little bag. The xxl-f was amazing but was getting to heavy to haul. Had it for 6 years, warrantied/replaced once after 4 years and couldn’t have been any easier (they honestly stand behind their s**t). Resale value it strong too!! Enter the MCT (or baby veto as I’ve dubber her). It is about half the size, and I know what your thinking, but fellas the truth is, size doesn’t matter! It fits a ton of tools. Here’s what didn’t fit when converting bags: a hammer(too tall), rubber mallet(too tall), line up pin(too tall), half face respirator, and knee pads. Not bad eh!? So big deal need a second little bag for a few items, much lighter and easier to handle. Not to mention I can actually store it in our community company job box, which was difficult with the size of the xxl-f. I was on the fence for over a year, because of the size difference, but I don’t think I’ll ever look back.
Suggestions/downfalls: wish there was a snap on both sides to hold bag open. For me personally the smaller pockets kind of useless, had to go out of my way to find a use, still not all used. Not a fan of the long elastic pocket on the inside top, maybe more of a cargo type pocket with a zipper would be more useful.
Crazy suggestion: maybe make an accessory that sits under the base and attaches via the should strap d ring, for larger storage area.. veto I’ll be more than glad to take a free prototype if you decide to make it 🙂

This Bag is by far the best bag that I’ve owned. I have had several bags. Hilmore open top, and Back Pack, Klein Back Pack, as well as a few plastic tool Boxes in my younger days. Now i have to admit, I’m a bit of a bag snob. I’ve had probably a DOZEN different bags working in the HVAC industry. And i wish i would of bit the bullet a LONG time ago and just went with a Veto like my co worker told me years ago. This bag is perfect. More so for service. In the two weeks I’ve had it I’ve had 5 customers compliment how neat and professional it looks and how organized i keep it. I use this for my service bag and i will be getting a different veto open top for my install bag. I will slowly convert all my bags to Veto as i have REALLY enjoyed working from my MCT. I will also be purchasing a meter bag to keep my Fieldpiece multi meter, Supco M500, and my Fieldpiece Dual Poet Monometer in. These bags are no joke. This bag is amazing! I used to carry tools in two Husky bags plus a storage box in my car but I was able to fit everything I need in this one Tech-MCT bag. Although it looks small, the Tech-MCT has a huge capacity and is built like a tank. It is also easier to carry than the Husky bags. It’s clear a lot of thought went into the design of this bag and it is very well laid out and uses top quality materials. I’m already looking to buy another Veto bag. Once you try Veto quality, you’ll wonder why you didn’t buy one earlier.

I used to carry the same amount of tools in a bag twice the size, yet still they weren’t as organised as the are in this little beauty. Honestly if you have any doubts/concerns… just try it, you won’t regret it. The external side pockets are a godsend for electrical screwdrivers and pens/pencils.
If I had to pick any fault I couldn’t with the bag itself, the strap could do with being a tad shorter when fully adjusted if I had to gripe about something… this bag still sits quite low when carried over the shoulder & maybe it could be hiked to sit just above the waist as the bag itself is compact enough.

This is my every day bag after deciding the tp3 and tp4 weren’t big enough for me personally, but my tech pac was too much for residential service in my area. This bag is fitting the bill nicely. Same great quality as always. I just purchased my second mct, not because my other one wore out but because a coworker had their service bag stolen. So I gave them my mct filled with older tools that had just become back ups to help them out. After a few months of using my tech pac every day i went out and bought the second mct. I will continue to buy veto products.

I have been using the the Tech-MCT from a few months now and am impressed with this little bag. After years of using the free bags that were included with my power tools, or bucket organizers and being constantly frustrated because it was hard to find the tool I needed and having to replace the bags every year, I finally found a bag that will stay with me for years to come. I can’t believe the amount of tools I can fit into such a small bag. On top of all that I know that Veto will stand behind the construction of their product, because after two months the shoulder strap on my bag started to come apart at a seam. I sent a picture of the failure and immediately, no questions asked they sent me a new shoulder strap. This is my first bag, but I already have plans to purchase more bags in the near future for the rest of my tools. Sure they may cost more up front, but the savings over the long run well justify the price.

This toolbag is a very high quality product. I work in an industrial maintenance setting on commercial printing presses. There is quite a bit of climbing involved on steep narrow stairs and ladders over six stories of equipment per press and we have three. The need for a smaller bag is imperitive as is a closed bag that won’t spill easily. While this bag is one of the smaller ones available by VPP make no mistake you can easily overload it to an uncomfortable weight. The larger bags are a deal breaker for my use.
I use the front side of the bag for mechanical tools and the back side for electrical tools and gear. I find some of the small pockets to be hard to use as they are a bit too small for me. This is a minor quibble and purley personal preference. The extra height is also important for longer tool. The 10” MC is too short. Great product! I’m enjoying the excelent organization of this bag. A few larger deeper pockets on the outside would be wecome .

I previously had a veto “LC” bag that i had inherited from my boss who had it a few years before me and I continued to use it another 4 years, one of the zippers finally gave out after daily use and some admitted abuse, When this happened I decided to get this bag instead for service because it wasnt near as bulky and bit lighter on the shoulder when a customer gets chatty on the way out the door, so far i love it, it holds exactly what i need and nothing i dont. Helps me to keep my tools neat and the bag cleaner inside now that i dont have the extra space for acquired junk/parts/screws and such to float around. Veto makes quality bags and this one is great.

I recently purchased your TECH-MCT tool bag from your online store after reading about the free TP3B upon purchase, so I jumped on-line and ordered and had it shipped to work. Upon arrival I looked at the bag as a piece of pure beauty, but first things first I took it outback and covered it in sawdust and took it back inside to fill with tools. I managed to get all my tools into it, including my full size claw hammer! Well, not soon after, the 4pm Friday bell rang and and I loaded my brand new TECH-MCT bag into my trunk and headed home.
Well, Saturday morning came and my wife asked me to go to her sisters house, and look at a leaky Bathroom Faucet. I drank my coffee and set off to survey the damage. Upon arrival, my sister in law met me at the door wearing a sexy revealing night gown and showed me into the bathroom. After a quick moment to trouble shoot I unzipped my TECH-MCT bag to a quiet ‘AWWWW’ sound coming from behind me, she liked what she saw! I reached in, grabbed the channel locks and electrical tape, wrapped the jaws in tape and after a soft twist of the faucet the leak had been foiled. I asked her if there was anything else she needed help with, she shook her head, and replied with a no, and she showed me to the door.
I loaded up my TECH-MCT bag into my trunk and with a huge sense of accomplishment drove home. Upon arriving at home, my wife met me at my car with an angry look on her face, she went to the trunk and opened it, pointing at my TECH-MCT she asked ‘Where the F did that fancy new bag come from, and how much did that MF cost’. I bowed my head, and began to grovel, I guess the 1/8″ of saw dust did not trick that woman!
Fortunately, she has not found my TP3B, so good things do come in small packages.

Love this bag. HVAC Service tech that mainly works on chillers. Wouldn’t have any other bag. My Tech MCT holds pretty much everything other than my large specialty tools. The durability and size make thus bag easy to carry to a roof or into tight spaces. I am a believer in the veto product, won’t buy any other brand.

This is by far the best tool bag I’ve ever had, I work as a commercial service HVAC tech and this is the perfect size bag for service work. It has all the height of the Tech LC but without the big bulky handle and extra width. I currently have 3 Veto bags and I’m waiting on two more in the mail. I’ve got the MCT, MB, and Tech LC. I’m waiting on the Tech Pac and TP3B in the mail. I’m currently using the Tech LC and MB combo out in the field(after getting some more advanced things and needing just a few more tools) and utilizing my MCT at home for misc. woodworking and plumbing until I get my Tech Pac and TP3B in the mail. I’ve always preferred backpacks but the Tech MCT is actually the perfect size and not too heavy, even fully loaded. I’ve had CLC, Klein, Milwaukee backpacks and I was always unsatisfied(with quality, tool storage design, customer service, zippers), my advice to anyone looking at these in comparison to the competition is to just go ahead and shell out a few more dollars and get the right bag from the go, you won’t be disappointed.

I stumbled upon veto bags just before Xmas and have now owned the mct for couple months, I’m an electrician in uk and like all the other veto bags I use I can’t say enough good things about them The mct is smaller than my back pack but I’m amazed just how many tools I’m able to get inside. The strap is very useful as it can get a bit heavy when loaded lots pockets very well made bag.

Have thoroughly enjoyed my Tech-MCT. Able to carry all tools needed for practically any job. Great for winter days on the roof battling the elements as I know my tools will be protected from the snow. Great organization, onlly recommendation I would make is to somehow increase the space of the exterior small pockets as they are very tight and sometimes difficult to reach in for screws or wire nuts or whatever may be stored in them. All in all I am very happy with the purchase and would recommend the bag to any HVAC/R mechanic looking for a top quality tool bag.

Excellent construction; feels tough and should hold up a long time. Plenty of room for all the tools I need (I design and service factory automation equipment control systems). This will actually hold long screwdrivers, nut drivers, pliers and has a couple of pockets specifically for meters. The outside pockets hold the tools I use most of the time, like wire strippers, small diagonal cutters, small screwdrivers, etc. The outside pockets would better serve if they were “bellows-style” rather than flat, but they are still useful. Great product at a great price. Finally a bag designed around the tools it is meant to hold; what a novel idea!

I have a bad habit of overloading my tool bags and this one can hold way too much. I have to thin it out every couple of weeks to keep it light. This is my 3rd Veto tool bag. My 1st was the LC and after 10 years of service it’s still in good working order. Looking do downsize so I wasn’t lugging around 50 lbs on my shoulder anymore I decided on the MCT and have been completely satisfied. The MCT seems to be constructed as well as my 10 year old LC. As an HVAC/R tech I do a lot
As an HVAC/R tech I do a lot of rooftop work and don’t need a ton of stuff with me. So far this bag holds just the right amount of tools including my drill and iPad. Its easy to find things and the bottom being plastic makes it great when there’s water around. Its also one hell of a sexy looking tool bag.
Only real issue I’ve got is the flat pockets are too flat to stuff much of my extra small crap into. But I fixed that with small hanging coins pouches and a S-biner of one of the tons of loops on the bag exterior. Thanks for such an awesome bag Veto!

This is a review about tools. Or should I say lost tools no more. I agree wholeheartedly with the comments and reviews about the quality and durability, I want to add some comments about keeping my tools. This bag not only helps me access the tools but it is keeping me from losing tools and meters. The way the bag organizes the tools it is easy to get to the right tool quickly. It is also easy yo see when something is missing. Since putting the bag into service I have not had to replace a tool. And that saves money and time making the cost of the bag worthwhile.
