Keep the Zippers Clean & Lubricated
Over time, dirt and grit will “clog” the zipper coils preventing them from staying closed. To keep this from happening, clean and lubricate your zippers twice a year (more often if you work on a job site with a high amount of airborne debris). To clean the coils: Scrub them with soapy water; a tooth brush works very well. After scrubbing the coils, blow them out with an air hose to dislodge any other fine grit that didn’t dislodge with the brush. To lubricate the coils: Apply a silicone spray, beeswax or a zipper lubricant.Protect the Zippers From Sharp Objects and/or Excessive Heat
Any sharp object or heat source is capable of permanently damaging the zippers. Once a zipper coil is cut or singed the zipper will not function and in most cases is not repairable. Most of the cut zipper coils we see are the result of sharp tools stored inside the bag with the sharp side facing up. Make sure to keep the sharp edges of your tools facing down in your bag and away from the zipper coils.Don’t Overstuff the Bag
Overstuffing your tool bag will very likely cause significant stress on the zippers that is above and beyond what the bag was built for and will eventually cause the zipper(s) to separate. If you have to work hard to close your zipper(s), your tool bag is most likely overstuffed…proceed with caution!

The MC is my latest everyday carry bag. I have upgraded up to it from the MB2 and MB and find its just perfect for what I need. I needed more room but it had to be small and light once loaded so the MC really works perfect for that. I also liked the tech MC but figured with the extra pockets I would end up carrying more than what I need so this one prevents me from doing that. The meter storage section of it works perfect for all the meters I need on a daily basis and the tool section holds a lot of tools, actually more than what I need so I have to try and keep things light. Love this bag.

I love this bag. It carries my all needed tools my Fluke 117 and some odds and ends. I did have an issue with the bag though, the spring on the shoulder strap clip popped out but the issue was resolved promptly. The service exceded my expectations. I will recommend this bag to all my co workers as i feel it is the only bag they will ever need…PERIOD.

Great little bag for HVAC service, carries what I need, I clip the MB on it with my meter and such. No issues, sturdy, wide base doesn’t tip over, not too bulky which is better, limits you from carrying crap you don’t need! I have used for over a year now in multiple seasons.

So far the bag meets expectations. I work in the wind industry field and it’s a perfect size to go up tower for troubleshooting and repair. Everything that I need fits in the bag. I wish I could have the guts to drop it from a 300 ft / 90 meters height to see what happens. I’m pretty sure it would survive the fall. Receive lots of compliments!! Super nice bag.

After trying other good, solid, well-built bags that you can pick up at your local hardware store, I finally bought a MC bag. This bad is a revelation in what a supremely made product can be like. The built quality is phenomenal, the organization is really great, but what really stands out to me is the balance of the bad, something I don’t think I’ve seen other reviewers taking about. When you pick up this bag and walk with it the balance is so amazing that it almost disappears from your perception. It’s like it’s become 1/10th the weight it actually is. Something about the design makes this bag a dream to carry.

The bag fits my needs for appliance repair perfectly. I stepped down from the Tech LC to this MC. There are a few things I would change and do miss daily. 1.bag only has small rings. Swapping out one small rings on the outside for a large ring will allow people to hang flashlights from the bag, I’ll have to DIY this. 2. expandable pockets. The LC has pockets that are elastic and I found them very forgiving while sliding in tools. The MC doesn’t have this. Just makes it a bit more difficult to get tools in 3. Add small tool bit holders that are again elastic on the inside flap of the tool bag for bits and spare meter leads.

The MC bag is the perfect
The MC bag is the perfect size for HVAC service. I have an XL bag but it is very heavy and large for trips into attics. I was using an electrician tool belt for attic services but I kept dropping tools because of the open top. With the MC it’s small enough for attic but large enough to carry all necessary tools used everyday. Only bad thing is no tape hanger included and the included carrying strap has no pad and is very uncomfortable after a few minutes so I have to switch to the XL strap when I have to get far from van. I love the Veto bags but it seems they are cutting corners by not including tape hanger and padded strap, $112 for a tool bag is a lot of money after all.

What i like:
It fits all the tools needed including a can of air, can of Smoke and label maker…. I find it keeps me super organized, I found the perfect use for all the pockets. In my case there are no un-used or functionally awkward(aka i wish this was bigger) pockets. Not only is it durable & functional i think it also looks very professional which is good if you work with high end clients or are otherwise image conscious. (I like that its not bright red/ yellow and looks like i bought it from home depot lol). I like all the exterior rings to attach things, i attach my headlamp, keys, tape and other items. I also attach the kline bag 5143 to the side and use it for all my wire trimmings, label maker tape, dead battery’s and other random trash. its the perfect fit and helps keep things clean.
What i dislike:
The fact that it lacks a secure place for a tape measure still baffles me beyond belief. I clip mine on the outside small “ID” pocket, but its prone to falling off. Also i feel it needs to come with the electrical tape strap as standard equipment. While not a design fault of the bag itselfi do wish it had a place for small parts-Such as screws, battery’s, wire-nuts Etc.
Ive Tried a lot of bags in the past and was never happy with any of them, mostly layout and functionality. I will likely be a loyal Veto customer for life. I already bought the smaller tote which holds all my bigger tools, wires and parts for when i do larger jobs/installs. Its pricey but well worth it.

Where was VETO when I was buying tool cases and bags searching for that one that was just right ? The MC is it. Deceptively large amount of storage for its small size. The MC is amazing. I’m an industrial electrician, mechanic, and a tool junky. Someone mentioned about the quality of Veto’s material going downhill in recent years, but I suspect they got a tool bag that somehow dodged Quality Control. The MC carries my most commonly used tools, and my XXL-F carries the power tools, larger tools, and tools I’m not using every ten minutes. Both bags are incredible. Before the XXL-F, I had a very large Husky tool bag. When I finally decided to spend the money on the XXL-F, I doubted it could hold the tools my Husky did, because I couldn’t even close that tool bag it was so overloaded. Surprisingly, Veto made it happen. It feels good to be able to close my tool bag at the end of the day. I feel like a slob using anything other than Veto now 😛 Veto Pro-Pac is the Rolls Royce of tool bags.

The bag itself is constructed well and am fairly happy with it. I wish it were a little bigger and am extremely unhappy with the strap. For a bag that is twice as expensive as any other bag I’d ever purchased, it should come with the padded strap that can be purchased seperately.

This is my second bag now from Veto and continue to be amazed by their product. This bag is perfect for fitting all my hand tools for Fiber optic installations. Great little tool bag, same good quality as ever on veto. I am a bit of an OCD generally and want to to able to get something with my eyes closed out of everything I own (the whole house normally, that is until my wife starts moving my stuff and then I look for it and swear 5 minutes before I ask her where it is). That goes the same with my tools in my toolbag. This bag gave me the chance to have my tools properly organised and it holds exacltly enough tools for my job and when I need something I could get it with my eyes closed as all tools are exactly in the same place all of the time. RIGHT ON!!! Someone complained on one of the reviews for the lack of outside little pockets for drill bits. Most companies buy drill bits in bulk and they come in packs of 10 or more in a plastic box/holder. I would suggest get one of those in one of the indide pockets of the MC bag to hold all drill bits needed. Problem solved.

I am another happy HVAC/R
I am another happy HVAC/R TECH that uses this MC as a service bag. I do not use all of the pockets, but the bag is light and enclosed. Most of my work is crawling in attics working on heat pumps or on refer boxes. This is a handy bag, small and fully enclosed. No tools snagging on conduit and such as you crawl to the next unit. I have an LC that sits in the passenger side of the service van, another great bag but not handy for the crawl. This bag is well made even with a Made in China tag on it.
This bag should come with a shoulder strap and not as an accessory.
