The TP-XL HI-VIZ ORANGE is our multi-faceted “one-sided” TP-XL mid-sized tool pouch but with an appealing hi-visibility orange fabric and reflective accents. This closable tool pouch holds a variety of tools, meters, fasteners, wire nuts along with a tablet pocket on the backside to help Techs needing a compact bag for a variety of service calls and installs.

Keep the Zippers Clean & Lubricated

Over time, dirt and grit will “clog” the zipper coils preventing them from staying closed. To keep this from happening, clean and lubricate your zippers twice a year (more often if you work on a job site with a high amount of airborne debris). To clean the coils: Scrub them with soapy water; a tooth brush works very well. After scrubbing the coils, blow them out with an air hose to dislodge any other fine grit that didn’t dislodge with the brush. To lubricate the coils: Apply a silicone spray, beeswax or a zipper lubricant.

Protect the Zippers From Sharp Objects and/or Excessive Heat

Any sharp object or heat source is capable of permanently damaging the zippers. Once a zipper coil is cut or singed the zipper will not function and in most cases is not repairable. Most of the cut zipper coils we see are the result of sharp tools stored inside the bag with the sharp side facing up. Make sure to keep the sharp edges of your tools facing down in your bag and away from the zipper coils.

Don’t Overstuff the Bag

Overstuffing your tool bag will very likely cause significant stress on the zippers that is above and beyond what the bag was built for and will eventually cause the zipper(s) to separate. If you have to work hard to close your zipper(s), your tool bag is most likely overstuffed… proceed with caution!

    In wet environment like butcher and fish shops the plastic base plate is very useful, but it’s important to know: it is NOT anti-slip. The bag works well with the MB bag, which can be connected on both sides.

    For a very long time I’ve always toted around a hard shell, better than average quality, tool briefcase. Throughout the years I’ve replaced the latches and handle to keep it operational. One time walking out of a customer’s house the handle broke on side. So I consulated what I needed to a tool bag. Eventually I got tired of having to dig for my tools yet didn’t want to carry a heavy tool briefcase around.

    In a Facebook group for appliance technicians I saw a bag that intrigued me, a Veto Pro Pac bag. Afyer comparing several bags I chose the TP-XL. Not only does the bag look good it is practical. When you handle the bag and feel the material you know you have a very well made bag. It accommodates all my goto tools plus a few extras. I love being able to look over and see the tool I need rather than digging around for it. I’m happy with the overall layout of pockets and pouches.

    The shoulder strap is very comfortable and convenient. The HI-VZ orange is bright and the reflective strip is a nice touch. There’s no doubt you’ll never misplace your tool with that combo. I don’t keep my bag zip I only flip it down and the thick strip of velcro keeps it shut enough for me. Although I don’t use the zippers I would like to mention they are smooth and would likely stand the test of time.

    Overall, I am very happy with my purchase. It allowed me to downsize my original setup and provide a more comfortable way of transporting my tools. I feel good carrying it because it just screams profressional.
