Veto Pro Pac’s Tech Pac LT is the ultimate laptop backpack tool bag designed specifically for professional tradesmen who need to climb ladders, frequently go up and down stairs or walk long distances on a daily basis and need tools and technology storage.
Designed to enable the safe and comfortable transport of a variety of tools and a laptop and/or tablet when servicing equipment accessible by extension or cage ladders, in cities or industrial buildings where walking long distances is required and in residential settings where going up and down stairs frequently is part of the job, the Tech Pac LT features a center panel, heavy duty construction and a stabilizing injection molded waterproof base that allows technicians to organize and access their tools quickly and protects their tools and technology.
LAPTOP STORAGE: Will accommodate most 15″ laptops (15″x10″x1.5″ is the max). For 17″ laptop storage, see our XLT laptop-tool bag (not a backpack).
With 36 pockets inside and out, the Tech Pac LT has ample room for hand tools, cable wires, a laptop, tablet and business accessories and more. The Tech Pac LT’s center panel design offers dual bays with two storage platforms in each bay. The center panel design with the main tool storage options on each side centers and stabilizes the backpack. It also includes D-rings, extra pockets on the top of the front side, and a stainless steel tape clip.
The Tech Pac LT is also made for comfort with a thermo-formed EVA padded back panel that helps cushion the load (which also provides structural stability), a padded load displacing shoulder strap system with multiple adjustment strap points and an ergonomic TPV rubber grip.

Keep the Zippers Clean & Lubricated
Over time, dirt and grit will “clog” the zipper coils preventing them from staying closed. To keep this from happening, clean and lubricate your zippers twice a year (more often if you work on a job site with a high amount of airborne debris). To clean the coils: Scrub them with soapy water; a tooth brush works very well. After scrubbing the coils, blow them out with an air hose to dislodge any other fine grit that didn’t dislodge with the brush. To lubricate the coils: Apply a silicone spray, beeswax or a zipper lubricant.Protect the Zippers From Sharp Objects and/or Excessive Heat
Any sharp object or heat source is capable of permanently damaging the zippers. Once a zipper coil is cut or singed the zipper will not function and in most cases is not repairable. Most of the cut zipper coils we see are the result of sharp tools stored inside the bag with the sharp side facing up. Make sure to keep the sharp edges of your tools facing down in your bag and away from the zipper coils.Don’t Overstuff the Bag
Overstuffing your tool bag will very likely cause significant stress on the zippers that is above and beyond what the bag was built for and will eventually cause the zipper(s) to separate. If you have to work hard to close your zipper(s), your tool bag is most likely overstuffed… proceed with caution!

This bag is fantastic. Durable and a good amount of space. It makes it really easy to stay organised therefore saving time.
I love the integrated hanging hook, also great to secure it to the headrest when it’s sat on the front seat of the van( this stops it from falling over during heavy breaking)
There’s only a few things I think it’s missing.
Some Mollie webbing to strap pouches too, as getting some larger multimeters and battery meters. I thought about the mb2 meter bag with the belt clip in place of a tape measure but I’m not sure it would stay put.
A place to store business cards/id tags, so they can be seen from the outside.
And finally, just a potential design idea, integrated into the solid handle could be a small cree led lamp so it could stand next to your workspace or point down into the bag.
Hands down still the best thing on the market by far.

This is my second bag the other is the tech pac MC. I really like the bags and would love to give them a 5 star but my biggest gripe are the individual pockets are VERY rigid (which I like assuming they will break in some over time making them last longer) which makes putting tools in them pretty hard. I also find that neither bag really supports a like full size fluke multimeter and barely fits my network cable scanner in the softer pouches at the bottom.
I know I over stuff them too because I work on various equipment and never know exactly what I’ll need so I have to carry allot (thus the two bags).
I could probably use a third bag as I try to break the tools up into usable groups but I travel internationally and luggage and all is an issue already.
Overall I think the bags are great and do recommend them. Customer service was great at helping me out when I needed one in a short time and their shipping WH was out of them they got one from their HQ and got it to me on time.

I discovered the veto brand as a life safety technician many years ago. About 15 years ago I bought my first tech pac LT. Nowadays I have returned to electrical work (industrial and high profile commercial), I have once again come to rely on my veto bags as my absolute go-to every time. I have 2 pac LTs, a blackout lt, and a tp6b. Each one has a different setup for different scenarios, but I routinely will load up one of the lt’s with +75lbs and get into some very high and tight places with it. An indispensable part of my toolkit, and highly recommended.

Build quality is out of this world! I cannot emphasize this point enough. This thing is built like a tank. I hate having to replace failed equipment prematurely, and there isn’t a doubt in my mind that this will not be the case with this bag. It was immediately apparent that I had made the right choice. This bag holds all that I needed it to and more. I am a traveling service tech in the meat processing industry and the smooth hard bottom on this bag allows me to easily remove any mess that tries to follow me home. And I love the fact that the manufacturer includes a product insert that says to clean and oil the zippers. The pay attention to every detail. Being so impressed with this bag, I just ordered a tool pouch to go with it.

I like the bag, but when I received it I found this off white color on it that almost looked like mold. I was able to wipe it off. May have been from the manufacturing of the bag not sure. Only other issue is I have is the front zipper sticks badly on the right side. I can live it but for the price you pay for the bag not impressed with the above to things. But overall the bag is great, wish it had a wider bottom to make it more stable but I guess I might not use it like most. It does feel good on the back when climbing up roof ladders nice and comfy. Holds everything I need it to and securely which is good. Would be nice if it had some type of elastic side pockets to hold a water bottle on this hot days :-). If it wasn’t for the above mentioned items I would have given this 4 or 5 stars but getting the bag in the condition I did doesn’t merit that.

I just purchased this product hoping that it will work for my team of technicians that travel the country. I used it for the first time last week, and I can see that I made the right choice, AGAIN!. It held all my tools, laptop, iPad, and everything I needed. It also kept everything completely dry in a downpour walking from the truck to the job site.
I purchased this bag because I have had prior experience with Veto-Pro Pac. I purchased the Tech XL bag TWENTY (20) years ago! I was a regional maintenance supervisor for a large multi-family company and traveled all over the midwest. That bag went everywhere I went. It is, and was packed with everything I could possibly need to do any job.
Think about that, a tool bag that lasted for 20 years!
I carry a couple thousand dollars worth of gear in this bag, laptop, iPad, laser measure, tapes, lights, phones, and chargers. It all fits, nothing rattles around, and the hard bottom lets it stand up on its own.
This thing is a beast. And, it doesn’t weigh much more than a regular backpack. Solid, well built, high quality product!
I will be reaching out to this company to discuss purchasing 10 more of these bags for the rest of the team!

I have a slight issue with the chest strap as the threads on one side are nearly all ripped even though I’ve only had it 3 weeks but is not even close to a “make-or-break” problem.

I’m an IT Technician / Control4 AV Installer and I needed a bag that would comfortably carry my most frequented hand tools along with safe section for my laptop & charger. After much thinking, reading reviews, watching YouTube videos, listening to other installers recommendations, etc…. I finally decided to order the Tech Pac LT. I felt it would best suit my needs and offer the best durability and protection compared to other bags I’ve previously used.
I must say I was very excited when I placed the order and couldn’t wait for it to arrive. When it did arrive I was astounded at the quality of it. I’m not going to lie, a little part of me felt buyers remorse in-between ordering and receiving, but I got that warm full feeling of satisfaction when it arrived and I realised I’d made the right choice. The bag far exceeded my expectations, and I instantly knew that reviews from people saying their Veto’s had served for 10 years could be believed. If you break that down, even if it only lasts me 5 years, the bag will have cost less per week than I spend daily on coffee!!!!! Just let that sink in for a second. Remove 1x morning coffee from your week and your bag is paid for.
The bag has so far been very comfortable to use. Dont get me wrong, it’s heavy, but that’s what you’d expect from something that’s going to hold and protect £2k worth of computer and £1k’s worth of tools. Best of all, it stands upright on the job, and I love the way the front pocket opens out into a little makeshift ledge to rest things on.
I honestly can’t say enough good things about these bags, and I wish I hadn’t hesitated so much before buying it. I really am looking forward to expanding my range of Veto products in the future.

Five Year Warranty More thank you get from most back back companies. As for me I was going thru a $100 back back about every year. Tell I found this back pack. That will put a stop to this. I have had one of the XL bags for the last 7 years no issues with that. This stuff dose it’s job. Looking forward to seeing new products as they grow. I will be buying more as I find a need. You can not beat there gear.

Back pack is durable and well constructed. Extremely organized pockets, pouches, etc. — well thought out. I personally could use a few more inches of depth, as the materials used ares stiff. Backpack seems well protected.

I do IT, network and electronics work, this bag is life changing. For years I’ve struggled with carrying bags full of smaller bags and elastic doodads trying to keep my tools sorted. By the time I had all the tools I needed in my bag, most consumer level bags just disintegrate in a matter of months, and sifting through bags of bags to get a specific screwdriver wrench or kit? There’s a layer of hell for that I think. Anyway, the bag is built like a tank, stands up on its own (there are no words to properly convey my feelings on this amazing feature), holds a 15″ laptop with plenty of breathing room and holds just about any tool I could need on a daily basis. This bag is worth every penny.

Is more. The MCT, MC Tech, TP4B, CP4, and cargo totes are my other favorite bags I use on the regular. I also have many of the PB parts bags, different sizes, ifor tools and materials I need. I also made specific bags for soldering/brazing, electrical repairs, airflow & manometer measuring tools and supplies , evacuation and another for condensate drain cleaning, purging and repairs. The bags help keep me organized and allow me to find what I need quickly as well as keeping Inventory of parts and materials. I have found no other tool bags that can stand the abuse and provide the organization.
I’ve never Any a major issues with any ofy bags and the small issues o did have were taken care of promptly my vetos customer service. This situation a great company with awesome products.that cant be match by other copy cat manufacturers. You get what you pay for when you buy a veto product!

Commercial HVAC Tech. I recently purchased this bag. I purchased a cheaper bag, but it broke a little over a year ago. So I bought a different brand, staying in the price of the one that broke, it broke after a year. I got this one. A little hesitant about spending that kind of cash. First glace it appears well made, sets up well on my back whenever I have to walk across roofs to locate a roof top unit. I am nothing but impressed.

Like many technicians, my quest for the perfect tool bag has caused me to try out offerings from a multitude of manufacturers. The Tech PAC LT is my current favorite for my general service work. Some of my thoughts on the bag:
Pros:
– Ridgid divider between tool side and laptop side provides some protection for the laptop.
– Pocket layout is well planned. The mix of pocket sizes and layout works great for my needs.
– Stands up on its own. Very easy to work out of.
– The reasonably compact size is nice. The carrying capacity is slightly limited so you must be efficient with your tool selection but this helps keep the weight and bulk down so I am happy with the compromise.
Cons:
– No storage for a parts organizer. Many Kuny’s (or CLC) products have an arrangement for a small part organizer but none of the Veto bags seem to incorporate this.
– Tape measure clip is exposed and I frequently find my tape measure knocked off. I can understand why it is outside but another solution would have been nice.
– A few small pockets for driver bits right along the top would be nice. Possibly between existing pockets or even doubled on to the front of the top pockets like some of the other bags. I couldn’t fit my M12 drill in with all my tools either.
– No reinforcement where the shoulder strap attaches to the bag. When picking the bag up and throwing it on your shoulder there is lots of stress here. No damage yet but looks like it will start to pull apart. I am a frequent one shoulderer as well so the provided buckles don’t relieve the stress as much as wearing the bag over both shoulders.
– No tape loop.
A long list of negative points but they reflect my particular needs. Overall the bag is the most convenient I have found for my application in datacenter work; even at the hefty prices us Canadians pay.

The bag is really well made. Personally I wish it was made a bit taller. The bottom of it hits my lower back. Not an issue other than if it tells me it could be made a little taller. The would allow a few bigger items I need , like a labeler . Everything I use fit except for just a couple things. 4 to 6 more inches taller and no doubt this would absolutely be perfect. Thanks for such a well made product line.

Got this as a gift and my uncle loves it! The bag fills all his needs, enough room for all his tools and gear. Big enough but not too big where its overwhelming. Loaded with all tools can become quiet heavy but all the straps make the weight shift very easy to transport on your back. Great purchase, no bag is better than VETO!

Over my 15 years as an
Over my 15 years as an electrician/technician I have had many bag, packs, tool boxes and buckets, but none as versatile as the Tech PAC LT. I am in the Solar industry and on some of my sites I have to walk a considerable distance and up a series of ladders or stairs to get to the roof. This pack allows me to carry all my tools while protecting often the most important one, my laptop. Being hands free is key to traversing the the ever changing routes to the roof, allowing me to be safe and efficient in my efforts. The hard plastic bottom as proven useful when setting my pack down on a often moisture covered roof. I was hesitant to purchase the pack at first due to the cost, but now I am confident that I made a wise purchase. This is an excellent product that is oozing quality on every feature. I look forward to expanding my tool pack collection with other models as/if the need arises. Great Job VETO!!!!!!!!!!

I am a security systems
I am a security systems supervisor technician working in a prison environment. There are areas that are not accessible by vehicle and could be more than 3/4 mile hike to get to the job site. After years of trying to come up with a proper solution to include boxes, bags and other backpacks, this solution has fit almost perfectly. This backpack gets all my tools i need to complete my job at the job site comfortably. Hand tools and laptop/tablet fit neatly and organized, as well as easily accessible. With a dedicated Meter pouch and a small parts bin this would be a perfect solution that i would highly recommend to my team as a solution for field work.

I am an electrician. I do a fair amount of control work. I needed to be able to carry a decent amount of hand tools and a laptop for programming, while keeping my hands free for climbing. I tried the Red and Black brand as well as the Orange and Black brand. I shouldn’t have wasted my time. None had the layout and smart use of space that the Veto had. You simply cannot find a comparable tool backpack.

I work in a technology
I work in a technology department supporting a/v equipment. I don’t need a full tool case for most of the work I do so I have tried various small cases and backpacks to carry them and my laptop. I decided to pick up the Tech Pack LT and it changed how everything fit. There are enough pockets for my tools and parts, my laptop is secured away without worrying about getting damaged by the tools and it all stays where I put it. When I set the fully loaded bag down and open the pockets, the bag stays in place without falling over and the tools are so easily accessible. This is the best bag I’ve owned to date. I say it’s definitely worth buying if you are on the move like me.

Best tool pack I’ve ever owned and not by a little. Picked it up and put down several times because of cost. Having owned one, if some jerk stole it from me I would buy another without hesitation.
One suggestion: a small MOLLE field on one or both sides of the pack. That would allow attachment of bottle holders, meter bags, etc

I’ve had my Backpack for 6
I’ve had my Backpack for 6 months now and glad i made the purchase. By far the best and most comfortable Tool bag i have ever owned. I’ve had my backpack loaded full of tools and laptop gear at 42 lbs. Not one issue of complaint with that amount of weight on my back. Climbing ladders, flights of stairs, long walks to remote equipment. This bag is a tank!

I switched to doing more
I switched to doing more commercial HVAC which meant more climbing up and down ladders. After my multimeter escaped my old open top bag and fell 25′ to it’s doom, I knew it was time for a better tool bag. This bag does a very good job of holding all the tools I need, including my new multimeter. They protection for my tablet and my paperwork is great to have. While I bought the backpack so I could climb ladders easier, my favorite feature of the bag is the great carry handle on top. The bag stands by itself and this handle makes it so easy to grab and go.

I saw this at a trade show
I saw this at a trade show and was immediately hooked. I’ve had one for about two months and it had made getting around a lot easier. Before I had multiple bags to carry for a laptop and tools, or would try to fit what I needed into a regular backpack, always forgetting one thing I’d eventually need. Even loaded up this one is comfortable to carry. One thing I would like to see, the zippers to get down further to the bottom. Sometimes ti’s hard to get at the bottom pockets when the bag is loaded full. But, that’s a minor inconvenience. I’ve had a few different tool bags and back packs, and this one if by far the best of all.

Overall for controls work
Overall for controls work this bag is great. It fits all the hand tools I need to have with me (just barely, which is exactly what I wanted). The laptop area being separate is great, but I carry around a switch, a compact BACnet router and a couple other little odds and ends and it’s a little tight for my comfort, hopefully it will stretch out to fit better over time. What I don’t understand is how I can spend over $200 on a tool bag and it doesn’t include the electrical tape strap, even the cheapo stuff you can get at Lowe’s and Home Depot has an electrical tape strap on it…
Gripe over the strap aside, I will definitely be providing my techs with these bags from now on.

I would like to commend the maker of this tool back pack, I’ve only had it for a very short time and it is by far the most comfortable tool back pack that I have ever owned and I usually by a different one each year due to the fact that I had never found the right one, but thanks to you guys I have found it and every other tech that I have shown the back pack to, has wanted to buy it from me. The fact that every tool is so well organized and it stands up on its own so I don’t have to be leaning it against a wall or a door. I’m very happy with this purchase and I only wish I would have known about your company sooner. I hope you guys keep making such solid a product. I’m an HVAC installer, my
I’m an HVAC installer, my jobs involve everything from sheet metal work, to plumbing, low voltage wiring, and service in between. I’m able to hold all my needed tools for any and all jobs big or small. I love that it stands by itself without tipping. Is easy to carry and to look through. The only issue, and I literally mean only issue is the screw driver slots are shallow and need to be poked through. I’m not sure why this design was chosen. Seems the length of the slots should have been as deep as possible. The only other suggestion would be maybe some customization possibilities in the future. Being able to determine how long or big a certain pocket is needed to be. And for the back pack it would be awesome to detach part of the bag for smaller jobs. All in all this product was worth every penny and the last bag I used which now is an art tool bag and just as useful was also wonderful. I love your products!! Thanks guys.

I have had the LT pack for a
I have had the LT pack for a couple of weeks now and use it for many applications. I have used it on a 4 wheeler to carry tools and laptop through the roughest terrain to work on emergency communications equipment on mountain tops. I also work on emergency equipment in emergency vehicles and most of the tools I need can be carried in this backpack. A second one of these will be ordered when I can to accommodate my day job as a control system technician. These backpacks are truly well built and the technician’s needs planned as engineering designed this pack. I grab it first for most of my chores at home. Top of the line tool backpack to secure the investment in the top quality tools you carry in it!

I’m a biomedical engineer and I travel to many hospitals and this bag can hold most tools to complete my small repairs and than some. I have used it everyday for the last 2 months with no complaints and lots of compliments. I would recommend this to any field service person as there is ample room and the bonus you can have your laptop with you and don’t have to worry about damaging it.

Fantastic , yet again I am
Fantastic , yet again I am Not disappointed, this Techpac is what I have been waiting for, I had the first Techpac and missed the laptop section although you had room for it, it was slightly unprotected , however now I can carry the laptop in a separate section all fully protected with padding and my ipad and cables and with the tools all out of the way in the front section. it is also slimmer than the Techpac and so feels less bulky.. only went to my local shop to pick up a new battery for my drill ,and I always ask if there are any new products from Veto pro pac and out popped the Tech Pac LT, and I had to get it!! my other one is now being used as an installation kit bag and this is now my day to day service bag. thanks again for another great product.
