Veto Pro Pac Tool Bags Product Care and Maintenance

Keep the Zippers Clean & Lubricated

Over time, dirt and grit will “clog” the zipper coils preventing them from staying closed. To keep this from happening, clean and lubricate your zippers twice a year (more often if you work on a job site with a high amount of airborne debris). To clean the coils: Scrub them with soapy water; a tooth brush works very well. After scrubbing the coils, blow them out with an air hose to dislodge any other fine grit that didn’t dislodge with the brush. To lubricate the coils: Apply a silicone spray, beeswax or a zipper lubricant.

Protect the Zippers From Sharp Objects and/or Excessive Heat

Any sharp object or heat source is capable of permanently damaging the zippers. Once a zipper coil is cut or singed the zipper will not function and in most cases is not repairable. Most of the cut zipper coils we see are the result of sharp tools stored inside the bag with the sharp side facing up. Make sure to keep the sharp edges of your tools facing down in your bag and away from the zipper coils.

Don’t Overstuff the Bag

Overstuffing your tool bag will very likely cause significant stress on the zippers that is above and beyond what the bag was built for and will eventually cause the zipper(s) to separate. If you have to work hard to close your zipper(s), your tool bag is most likely overstuffed… proceed with caution!

Daughter in TO bought this for me (after arm twist) for Christmas. Had seen these products at Atlas Tools there. Very impressed with quality construction and tool storage layout (design).
Ideal for my trouble shooting needs (primarily electrical). Portable, load and go ( kids homes need a lot of attention). Always been a fan of ‘Made in USA’ brands. Hope Trump/Biden are listening. This bag did not disappoint. Plan to expand my Veto Pro Pac inventory. Hope my partner doesn’t read this. 5+ rating from this guy.

My first small tool pouch and I absolutely love it. It’s solid and the perfect size for all of your essential hand tools when working on the job! Veto’s bags are top notch and it’s nice to see that quality across the board on all products!

Getting older and don’t want to carry the big bag anymore. The TP4 is great for roof access ladders where you need both hands to climb. The pouch has the belt clip so you have both hands free.

My 3rd veto bag after upgrading from the tp3. Same amazing quality I’ve come to expect, 2 years of use and still looks good. These bags are top notch quality and worth every penny.

This bag is great for the guys out in the commercial field. I’ve been using it for around a month now and my only issue with the bag was that I had to buy a separate shoulder strap for the TP4. Overall GREAT PRODUCT 100% have/will recommend to my fellow tradesmen/women

I have been doing my job a long time and I have never had such well designed quality tools bags. I purchased the Tech-MCT tool bag last month, and I wanted to have a quick grab tool pouch for last minute gate calls and fast easy jobs. The pouch accommodates the MCT tool bag perfectly, and if you need your tools for a bigger job you can just clip the pouch on the side of the MCT and you’ll have access to all your tools at once. The bags are well worth the money, and I would highly recommend to anyone. I am an aircraft Line mechanic and It seems the Veto bags are marketed for construction, HVAC guys but they Work perfect in my industry as well. And in our profession we are used to just tool bags with all the tools just thrown in there, having to dig to find the tools you want. Well those days are gone thanks to the Veto Bags.

Veto Pro Pac makes the best
Veto Pro Pac makes the best bags on the market. Just don’t buy them on amazon, buy them from Veto or and approved parts house. Many of the Amazon bags are imposters and missing parts like handles and and tape loops.

I purchased the TP4 several months ago and beat it to death everyday has in the HVAC trade and love it. Cut to the chase: why on earth Veto do you use Non-Welded D-Rings, (sewn into the bag) as the connection point for the carry handle or shoulder strap? I’ve had to squeeze mine back together. In fairness, my bag is loaded to the gills, I suppose slinging the bag over my shoulder puts extra strain on those D-Rings. However, this wouldn’t be an issue if you used welded D-Rings. Also switch to the strap and D-ring to a wider size, ie beef this up, it’s seriously the Achilles heal of this bag. When the D-Ring fsails, the bag is practically useless. I love your products have the Tech MCT bag also, just being real guys.

I have owened other veto bags for awhile now, but was hesitant on a hip bag. As a hvac tech it didn’t have a hige place in my mind. I bought a beater from the H D and modified it a bit, but for $14 bucks, you get what you pay for!!! I Finally took the plung at the local supply house. Great bag to say the least. It rolls with me and my MB2 for trouble shooting and small PM’s. I only wish the hip clip was a little higher and had a hard base, but what the heck, can’t find a better bag anywhere. Veto rules!

This tool bag is a great addition to my arsenal. I have the tech LC and the tech Pac for larger jobs. The tp4 is a great small tool bag to grab and run up a ladder to perform small jobs instead of lugging a 60lb large tool bag when it’s not needed. I love all veto pro Pac tool bags. I would never purchase another brand. The quality is great .

I LOVE my TP4, great tool pouch but would love to have a multi meter pocket. As an HVAC tech the TP4 serves as a great diagnostic tool pouch, i can carry every tool i need except for a multi meter. I also have an MB 2 but why carry two bags when i can carry everything in one. I believe the open access of the TP4 is it’s best asset. Would love to have it with a multi meter pocket added. Great products nonetheless.

I also agree that this is an awesome design. I would like to say it is a step up from the TP3. Being a bit bigger, the velcro pocket is actually useful and can fit temp thermocouples, wire nuts, bits, etc. the extra space makes it way simpler to fit the last few tools you wish could have went into the TP3. Yet i miss the TP3 for one reason.
The loops made for the TP3 are big enough to allow the screwdrivers to seat at the shank, instead of halfway in and out. The TP4 have one extra loop it had to make space for but now my 10-in-1 and beefy screwdrivers dont fit all the way in and fall out easily. Maybe if the stichting could be adjusted a tad to allow more space, then hands down this pouch is the best i have had.. Then five stars instead of 4 which is still wonderful..

i have had my bag for over a year very pleased with it. I do HVAC and refrigeration and can carry all the tools in it that I need for normal use. Very well made. My only complaint is it wont stand up when you set it down, it tips over forward and my tools spill out. A rigid bottom that didn’t go all the way to the back would help it set upright and would certainly improve its function.

I had high expectations for the TP4 as I also own a Tech XL though the TP4 arrived from Amazon without a handle nor the tape holder.

I believe if you are going to illustrate the product with these options and charge a premium price that these items should be included or spelled out that these items are optional.

The jury is still out if I will keep the TP4 and add to this review once in production or return it for a refund.

Been eyeing the Veto pro pac bags up for a while, was a little put off by the price at first but after buying the TP4 i know you are getting great value for money. I love the fact that i can stuff the bag with so many tools and they never budge. I have used numerous pouches over the years but you always end up with tools right in the bottom that you can’t get to quickly.

A small tool bag with a great affect and also really much space to
insert tools from each kind of sort. This bag will be fully attachable
to any kind of the other Veto Pro Pac toll bags easy to insert in the D-ring.

Mine is attached to the CT-XL so I can carry both bags together sorted right
with the tools I need. A Wera 05073220001 Tool Check fits exactly in the
upper front bag. I really love my Veto Pro Pac TP4 and this would be not the
only small bag from veto Pro Pac I was buying. For a small bunch of really often needed tools it is the right choice to go with.

The tp4 is a good bag quality
The tp4 is a good bag quality materials, I have ran several service calls with the bag it s really all you need as far as a diagnosis / service call bag. Commercial refrigeration and a/c alot of roof top rack units and rtu s for me ideal for going onto walmart rooftops. I will eventually get the mc or lc bag for bigger bags.

This bag was my first Veto
This bag was my first Veto purchase (I now own a Techpac, used to own the Tech XL until someone decided they needed it more than me and an MB2). I used this bag to test the waters, so to speak; to get a hands on experience with Veto’s products. I was highly impressed. I used this bag for both HVAC and refrigeration troubleshooting and it performed flawlessly. From working under the counter at a fast food restaurant to diagnostics on a roof of a big box store. Amazing tool bag. I won’t use any other brand now.

I have been using the LC bag
I have been using the LC bag for over 8 years and have been extremely happy with it. I am a Local 48 union electrician and store the tools I need in it, however I find the majority of the time I use a few job specific tools all day, all week and the LC bag sits in the gang box. The TP4 has plenty of room for my daily task and would work great for a trouble shooting tech. Perfect size not too big or too small and I would recommend it over the TP3. These bags are expensive but well thought out and built. In my opinion they are the best storage system on the market. I think for the money they can and should be manufactured in America by American workers and this is why I only gave the product 4 stars instead of 5.

Had the TP3 when it came out. Excellent bag but always wished it was “a little bigger”. Then I found the TP4 in a recent email add; wish fulfilled!!! Showed it to another Veto fan this morning and he picked up his phone and ordered one on the spot even paid for overnight shipping. Buy this one and you won’t be disappointed.

    I’ll be brutally honest about
I’ll be brutally honest about this pouch.

So I bought a TP4 from amazon and from the first time I opened it I thought it was bigger then I expected. Now after about a month and a half of usage I find it to be bigger and heavier than I need. Before the VETO one I had a much slimmer pouch which held half as much hand tools and so I find this one a bit big for me. So much so that I only load it half way most of the time. The build quality is good but not great (I did say I would be brutally honest). Also the leather parts are nice but that takes away from me being able to wash the entire pouch. I tried spot cleaning it but the stains won’t come out as easily.

All in all it’s a good pouch but not perfect. Perhaps not perfect for me. Being an electrician I do need to carry my hand tools but also movement is very important where I work, and this pouch feels a bit cumbersome.

Would I buy it again? No. I wonder if VETO will come out with slimmer pouches.

After spending a few days so far with the TP4 I could not be more pleased! I use it or my diagnostics bag and A/C PM bag currently. It replaced my old loose and sloppy pouch and what a difference it has made. Everything just fits back in nice where it should go (unlike my cheap one that I had to unload half of it to make stuff fit right).

I kicked around buying this bag forever before I bought it. My only regret with it, is that I debated so long to get it. It has made my life and job SO much easier. Anyone that has been kicking it around for a while like I did, should just pull the trigger on it.
My 2.5 year old OT LC is still doing the heavy service and comes in on every install and is holding up like when it was new!. Love these products and am a loyal customer for life. Thanks for the great products!

I am a service mechanic i do many job’s and i have tried manny different bag’s I all ways had trouble with tool bags because the ones that i have bought always had loose pockets and my tool’s would not stay in the bag. The nice thing about this bag is it keeps your tools nice and tight and just like the brian says the tools stay in if you lay your bag down . And also i can keep a much more organize tools and I will know exzacly if any tool’s are missing . and what make’s this really good is that it is so compact and very easy to carry . not accward like all the outher tools bag’s i had . i am hopeful that veto pro pac’s well offer a TP5 & TP6 if they do this it will really offer even more choice’s if they do ever come out with that i will buy it i would recamend that every one should buy the TP4 model for now because the Tp3 is a bit small. this veto company really make’s the best tool bag’s on the market no one will ever be disappointed with the hige quality that they make

I bought this bag as an
I bought this bag as an apprentice electrician. When starting a new carrier you never know what would be the best for your needs everyone has a preference. I did a lot of research I mean a lot of research on bags I had bought a klein pouch but it did not well organize my tools and it would not hold when I put it on the floor which can be annoying when you are doing ruff work and just passing wires you leave your pouch and just take your pliers. This bag does it all I have place for bits for when I am placing boxes which is really convenient. Enough Tools fit in it that I do not need to bring my veto pro pack xl with me every day, (I only bring it on new jobs to get a feel of what is really needed for the job). I can go on forever talking about how versatile and convenient this pouch is. If your looking for a convenient, versatile pouch look no further buy it trust me you wont regret it.

These are (by far) the BEST
These are (by far) the BEST tool bags I have EVER owned. If/when they wear out I won’t hesitate to purchase the same again. The layout/design has obviously been given a great deal of thought with provisions for almost every tool. I absolutely LOVE these tool bags and give them a real workout every day. Unlike my previous tool bags, with the Pro Pacs I am able to (at a glance) select the tool that is needed and then put it back in its rightful place. I would say that these bags have definitely improved my efficiency and have (in a short space of time) saved me many hours of searching at the bottom of useless tool bags for the right tool. In my opinion, these bags paid for themselves in a very short space of time.

I don’t mind paying for quality and yet these bags were reasonably priced. What I didn’t expect was the level of quality with ALL of the components that make up the tool bag. The workmanship and design is remarkable.

I am very impressed with your product. I would recommend it to ANY trades-person who is after a high quality, rugged tool bag for a reasonable price. The efficiency of the tool bags is also a major plus and the layout actually encourages one to put tools back where they BELONG and not just throw them in any old spot. The advantage of this is that the tools are ALWAYS where you expect them to be. It also prevents one from losing tools as the layout immediately exposes any missing tools from the bags.

I cannot speak highly enough of your brand. Thank you for producing a great product. Keep up the excellent work.

    I have purchased dozens of
I have purchased dozens of different tool bag combinations, always searching for the “best way”. The quality of the kits is second to none. The slots to hold tools are well thought out, it’s not simply 15 different screw driver holders! Some wider holders accommodate pliers, key sets, channel locks, etc.

I would recommend these to anyone and am planning to purchase a second tote for my “stay in the truck” tools.

    This bag is the perfect
This bag is the perfect addition to the larger bags such as the XL which I bought a few years ago and is still in excellent condition after being used daily in the field. The larger bags are to heavy to carry all day so this make perfect sense to use this as a detachable accessory pouch to carry around. Well made and thought out.

    After starting a small quest
After starting a small quest to find the perfect tool bag for my profession as a licensed Master Electrician and high security system technician, I ended up with a Veto Tech LC bag and a TP4. Over the last 10 years I have tried everything from hard tool boxes to 5 gallon bucket tool organizers. Nothing has provided me with the quality, or capability of Veto. Other tool bags are either cheaply made and they don’t last, are not practical, or they are too heavy. My Tech LC carries all the tools I need as a technician, with the TP4 keeping all my primary tools readily available. I was surprised at how light the tool bags are full, I think its because of the heavy duty materials that make it feel like you could carry 300 lbs. I often travel for work, and have checked my Tech LC bag onto flights with no problem, no wear or damage to the outside or any tools inside. I love that I can attach the TP4 to my Tech LC in my truck, it keeps everything so organized and mobile. Veto, I think your products are truly the best and I will never buy another tool bag again! The Veto MB is the next bag on my wishlist.

I work in the elevator trade
I work in the elevator trade & have always wanted a tool bag that is small but can hold everything needed to run service call. This bag (after trying several) is AWESOME & is built with the highest quality. I have always wanted a Veto tool bag but just skeptical about the quality vs. the price. I must say this might be the best investment I have made during my 12 years in the trade. I am a firm believer “you get what you pay for” & Veto tool bags are of highest quality & provide the most pockets for all your tool needs. I will always buy Veto products from here on in.

    I do Maintenance in a 440
I do Maintenance in a 440 unit apartment complex and I have to say the TP4 is the best mini tool bag I have ever bought, I have been able to put all of my go to tools in it (30 in total) and this has saved me time in my job. I don’t have to leave a job site to go get a tool that’s in my kart, I have everything I need with me, crescent wrenches, channel locks, screwdrivers, nut drivers, pliers, drill bits, copper tubing cutter, outlet tester, volt tester, wire cutter and striper, razor nife, alen wrenchs, tub drain remover dumbbell, measuring tape and 5 in 1, and everything fits perfectly nothing falls off and I can take out and put my tools back without a problem. I recommend it to anybody.
