Keep the Zippers Clean & Lubricated
Over time, dirt and grit will “clog” the zipper coils preventing them from staying closed. To keep this from happening, clean and lubricate your zippers twice a year (more often if you work on a job site with a high amount of airborne debris). To clean the coils: Scrub them with soapy water; a tooth brush works very well. After scrubbing the coils, blow them out with an air hose to dislodge any other fine grit that didn’t dislodge with the brush. To lubricate the coils: Apply a silicone spray, beeswax or a zipper lubricant.Protect the Zippers From Sharp Objects and/or Excessive Heat
Any sharp object or heat source is capable of permanently damaging the zippers. Once a zipper coil is cut or singed the zipper will not function and in most cases is not repairable. Most of the cut zipper coils we see are the result of sharp tools stored inside the bag with the sharp side facing up. Make sure to keep the sharp edges of your tools facing down in your bag and away from the zipper coils.Don’t Overstuff the Bag
Overstuffing your tool bag will very likely cause significant stress on the zippers that is above and beyond what the bag was built for and will eventually cause the zipper(s) to separate. If you have to work hard to close your zipper(s), your tool bag is most likely overstuffed… proceed with caution!

I had a fancy shmancy occidental bag for three years before it was stolen with all my tools. Upon repurchasing everything that was stolen, I saw that my occidental bag had gone WAY up in price, so I started to look at other options. My apprentice had a veto pac and I asked him how he liked his new bag. He looked at me funny and said “this thing is two years old!” I looked into the MOUNDS of options this company has as far as bags and I settled on this one because I wanted ease of access to my meter. I can’t believe how much better this bag is than the occidental one. It feels so so so much more durable and the ergonomics are 100% better. I only wish they had more options for separators in the middle open part to store my t-handle Allen’s better. I have already recommended this bag to others and they have purchased as well. Thanks veto for putting a quality product out only bummer is I don’t see this thing wearing out to buy again!

Hello Veto and all those who want a bag of the best quality, I bought the Tech OT-MC for its quality, it has many pockets and in the middle it has a very useful plastic storage, although it looks small it is extremely useful and holds a lot tools, very good for all technicians, in fact it is part of the Tech series, I use it for maintenance, the quality of the bag is very good, I bought it during the promotional period, I definitely have a guarantee that it will last for many years from now on , I recommend this bag, greetings👍👍👍

In my opinion, the industry standard for tool totes. Doesn’t matter the environment- if you need to carry tools this is what you need. I’ve hung it off of lifts, sat it in the mud and snow, and exposed it to chemicals in a water treatment plant. The tough plastic bottom and rugged construction keep my hand tools safe and sound. I carry an m18 drill, m18 ratcheting 3/8 socket drill, and a m18 battery in the interior large compartment. Hand tools fit perfectly and organize well in the surrounding sides. My only complaint is I wish the tote were 1″ shorter, as some tools fit a little deeper than I want. But it is my most-used “tool” I own, and despite the high price tag is worth every penny.

Love the bag, Service Plumber by trade. Not as much room as I would like for the odd plumbing tools that you may have but for the majority of your basic hand tools this bag is really nice and very well made. Will never buy another brand of tool bag, only wish they were sold locally.

Unbelievable bag. Has enough room for electrical tools and storage for miscellaneous items such as wire nuts, staples,crimp rings, and grommets. These are by far the best bags on the market. One Veto bag will not be enough. You will end up buying additional bags once you’ve seen the quality. They are addictive.

It truly is an awesome bag. Really like the design and layout. The only thing that keeps this bag from getting 5 stars is no tape strap. Not sure why the open top bags in the tech series don’t include tape straps. A coworker also got this same bag and that was his only complaint as well. I feel for 200 dollars, this bag needs to have a tape strap. Other than that, great bag

By far my favorite purchase. I love this bag. I ditched the cup in the center and I slide a few of Vetos bags in there with bits and small kit. I keep a few larger tools upright in the center part as needed, or an impact gun, or I collect garbage in it. The outside pouches are the perfect number for an Electrician. I carry my pliers on one side, and my nut drivers and screwdrivers on the other. My only complaint about the bag, is that the space in between the tool slots and the sides of the bag is so narrow, that if something drops down in there, you’ll need a pair of pliers to get it out, or you’ll have to empty all the tool slots to get your hand down in there. I used to try and free float tall tools in that space, and they would eventually work themselves horizontally and fall into that space where it’s difficult to see them, let alone grab them. Love this bag though. It comes right in a single man lift with me, it comes in the service truck with me, Its sits on my work cart on big jobs where I roll that way, and when Im out on foot, its small enough where I can’t overload it, and can set it right next to me wherever I’m working. I attached a large carabiner to mine that I use as a hook, and anywhere Im working, I can usually find a place to hang it waste height near me. the only time I wear a tool pouch is when Im working on a ladder with more tools than I can pocket comfortably.

I like this bag as it carries the tools I need day to day but isn’t so giant or weigh a ton. I would have liked to have the details on the inside plastic box sizes. Some small things are, the area between the front of the screw drivers/tool little pouches and edge of the bag isn’t very wide so if you put small items….like a pen….in that area by accident if goes all the way to the bottom and is awkward to get back out, this is also the case in the center area. I used pen as an example but small terminator screw driver other small items like scrap garbage also goes down there. I also would like a electrical tape loop or chain (I used the one off my old bag). A few more dividers (like 3) between the screw driver pouches and the front edge of the bag would help keep a few more tools in that area upright. I really like the plastic bottom , heavy duty plastic box mounting and good handle. I like the idea of the insert box, still playing around with where It should go and what should go in it. Right now I have No-Lox in there, gloves, tape measure and meter beside it. Might go crazy and mix it up a little who knows.

Hands down, the best quality bags in the market. The OT-MC is perfect for my needs, I’m an all around home repair specialist and I need to carry a wide variety of tools. This is my 3rd Veto bag (OT-XL & TP4). I needed to downsize my OT-XL as it was getting too heavy, 40+ lbs, I leave that one in my truck now, but the TP4 was a little too small for my needs. The OT-MC is my 6th bag from VetoProPac. The quality and attention to detail is outstanding on each and every bag I’ve purchased. The OT-MC is my HVAC “install” bag (while I wait for Veto to come out with their own HVAC Install bag). Open Totes are great for places like hot attics when you’re trying to get in and out without loosing any quality in your work. It’s quick and easy to see and grab the tools you need. I steered away from open totes for a while because I was used to the usual low quality open totes. The OT-MC has changed the way I see and use my open tote. For me, the OT-MC is a necessity for quick, quality installs, repairs, and sheet-metal work.

However, as small as it may be, I was a little put off when I realized the bag did not come with an electrical tape lanyard. It’s the little things, so you would expect something like that would be included, especially for almost a $200.00 bag.

This is really an awesome bag. The middle compartment absolutely wins me over. It is so handy when you just want to chuck small parts like connectors, cable lugs, etc. And, most importantly, it doesn’t feel heavy even though I load it up with all my tools! Quality of the bag? This is my second Veto Pro Pac tool bag. The first I bought a Veto Pro Pac OT-LC. The OT-MC is a lot more compact and the perfect size and weight. The shoulder strap it comes with is super comfortable. Easily accessible tools with the open top style. I love everything about this bag and several guys at work have them and they hold up very good. Great product for tough environment.

As a residential HVAC Tech I was looking for a bag that would hold all my hand tools for basic troubleshooting. This bag is it! The pockets were thought out throughly to organize your tools so you know right where to go when reaching for a tool. I use the middle compartment for my 12v Milwaukee and fluke meter. The box in the center is nice for jumper wires, fuse popper, zip ties, and any other small tools. I love this bag! I also have the Tech Pac MC backpack for light commercial

This is a great bag, it holds a fair amount of tools and equipment, more than enough for the average job. I really like the general lay-out of the bag, it is very convenient once you set up your stuff. The shoulder strap could use a magnet or clip to connect to the main bag or handle so it stays out of the way. I was going to suggest a magnetic top for the bin, but it appears Veto makes it and sells it separately, it would be nice to have an option to get the magnet top when purchasing. I think the two main tool storage areas could be extended a little bit to make the bottom area under the vertical pockets more accessible when the bag is full. Overall though it is a great bag, it keeps everything out and available and is easy to carry around from site to site. This is not the bag for anyone who has concerns about other people borrowing their tools if the tools are left alone. I keep my bag with me throughout the day, so I haven’t had much of an issue with the borrowering types.

I purchased this tool bag to replace a cheap bag from Home Depot. Not only is this bag a much higher quality, I love all the pockets it has for tools. My old bag had a large pile of tools in the center compartment, this bag with all the pockets, helps keep everything organized and in it’s place. The quality of the workmanship in the construction of this product is outstanding. This bag should last a lifetime. I hesitated at first to purchase a Veto bag due to the price, but now that I own one, I see that it’s a better value. What’s the old saying “you get what you pay for”.

Better built and more room than similar sized bags you get from the big box stores. I replaced a much bigger bag with this, and while I had to ditch some rarely used tools to make everything fit, I have not regretted the purchase. The plastic bottom is great, leather edges should hold up well to sliding channel locks in and out. Smaller items are difficult when stored in the outer pockets and fall under the screw driver pockets but so far I love mine!

Extremely well built, very sturdy with the weight of all the tools, Don’t have a problem paying for quality..I really like the middle opening with the moveable container, good sturdy plastic.. If i could change a couple of things I would put one more bigger pocket on the outside, maybe for a smaller flashlight, I would make it a little bigger cuz with all the tools in the pockets its hard to put my hand down in the tote, and last petty wish, I wish it came with the Contractor Shoulder Strap it would match with the bag..With that said I am very happy with the tote and will be purchasing more bags along with a Contractor Strap

Perfect tool bag for a mill electrician. I have a bike that I ride around the plant site and keep this on my bike. It holds everything I could need, and it’s really easy to work out of. I used to use a shoulder bag and this is way better how it keeps itself upright. And I don’t get worried about where I set it since the plastic bottom is so tall. I like to use the carry handle and set it at the job site and not have the shoulder strap attached, and the times that I have a bigger job upstairs, I put the shoulder strap on and set it down at that job all day until it’s done. So I’m not carrying it around all the time, which makes this the perfect bag for me, and I’ll buy the same one again if this one wears out.

Awesome tool bag! I’ve been using the OT-MC for the last 3 weeks – it’s large enough to store all my everyday tools and compact enough to carry easily. I work in a food processing plant so the removable plastic box in the centre is perfect for collecting off cuts if I have to strip or re-terminate cables in production areas. The layout makes it easy to grab tools quickly yet it’s deep enough to prevent anything from falling out. Quality is also second-to-none, highly recommended!

I originally purchased this bag as a partner for my drill bag. Upon receiving it, it made sense to use it to haul those tools that are always used every time I walk into a job. In, addition, I can carry my electric meters. Even better, I was able to lighten up my LC bags, and add even more diverse tools in the two LC bags that I carry in the cab of my truck. I was also able to shift some things around in the drill bag so that I could carry all of my bits and extra batteries. A true problem solver, lighter, smaller, and easier to navigate in older tighter job sites. Can’t go wrong with this handy little bag. One of the best tool bags
One of the best tool bags they have come out with yet. It holds all the tools you need for daily Jobs and has compartments for misc stock like wire nuts, connectors and lots more. It can hold up to 3 of them. I like having just one and then putting my fluke meter in the middle empty space, it is very protected in there. Over all the bag is very well constructed and gets my highest recommendation. You can’t go wrong with this bag!!
