Veto Pro Pac’s Tech MC is a compact, yet fully featured service, repair or installation tool bag that features everything you have come to expect from Veto Pro Pac: Veto Pro Pac’s patented center panel, heavy duty construction and stabilizing injection molded waterproof base that keeps tools dry, even in the nastiest of conditions.
With 38 pockets inside and out and a center panel design, the Tech MC has two storage bays with ample room for hand tools, meters, and a compact cordless drill, as well as smaller tool and accessories. It also includes D-rings, bit extension and memory stick pockets, and a stainless steel tape clip as well as a quick access outside pocket for drill bit extensions and small items. An over-molded ergonomic grip and a 3″ wide padded shoulder strap provide comfort for a potential load of 50 tools.

While the MCT allowes for two more inches of vertical storage space, many customers asked us to make a MC in a fully featured Tech Series style; the Tech MC does not store long shank tools. Veto Pro Pac Tool Bags Product Care and Maintenance
Keep the Zippers Clean & Lubricated
Over time, dirt and grit will “clog” the zipper coils preventing them from staying closed. To keep this from happening, clean and lubricate your zippers twice a year (more often if you work on a job site with a high amount of airborne debris). To clean the coils: Scrub them with soapy water; a tooth brush works very well. After scrubbing the coils, blow them out with an air hose to dislodge any other fine grit that didn’t dislodge with the brush. To lubricate the coils: Apply a silicone spray, beeswax or a zipper lubricant.Protect the Zippers From Sharp Objects and/or Excessive Heat
Any sharp object or heat source is capable of permanently damaging the zippers. Once a zipper coil is cut or singed the zipper will not function and in most cases is not repairable. Most of the cut zipper coils we see are the result of sharp tools stored inside the bag with the sharp side facing up. Make sure to keep the sharp edges of your tools facing down in your bag and away from the zipper coils.Don’t Overstuff the Bag
Overstuffing your tool bag will very likely cause significant stress on the zippers that is above and beyond what the bag was built for and will eventually cause the zipper(s) to separate. If you have to work hard to close your zipper(s), your tool bag is most likely overstuffed… proceed with caution!

I’ve had this bag since August of last year, and my only complaint is that I want more Veto bags. This is an excellent service bag for HVAC. I’m an apprentice and I intend on staying in the trade. I wanted to invest in Veto because of its durability and the wide variety of storage solutions. I like the Tech MC in particular because I am a petite female and I don’t want to carry anything heavy. I keep most of my service tools in this bag. I did recently buy the XL bag as well partially because I wanted it for installation tools but also the spring promo, and looking at getting the drill bag. I assure you I will be looking at Veto for my tool storage needs probably forever since it seems like no one does it as well!

Been in the access control, video, and security business for more than 25 years. I have the Tech pro laptop version veto bag for 5 plus years now but find it to be a bit much for routine service calls. However for installation jobs it’s perfect. When I saw the tech MC bag I figured I would try it just for service. Best decision I could have possibly made! This bag is friggin perfect for every day service work. Not too heavy and bulky for quick service work and it is just big and versatile enough for exactly what I need. Best tool purchase I have made in a while. The storage pocket space is ideal for small tools up to larger meters and probes. The fact that the veto bags stand up on their own unlike most other tool bags is one of the best features. Nothing worse than having a tool bag always falling over and all your tools come falling out. Not with these bags. Very sturdy. Built tough and last forever. Great job Veto. Definitely buy again if I need another.

Small , yet mighty. This is the first of 3 of the veto bags I purchased which prompted me to switch all of my bags to veto. The amount of hand tools you can fit into this bag was extremely surpriseing.
Though you load it up with heavy tools, the quality materials , and handle make the load feel lighter, and much easier to carry.
If you’re on the fence about veto, let me say this. I’ve owned many tools bags in my 25+ years in the trades. Veto is well worth the money.

This bag exceeded my expectations. I’m a service technician in the commercial beverage market and the Tech-MC holds every single thing I need. I have about 25 misc hand tools on the service side ranging from a full set of Wiha drivers, insulated drivers, hex drivers, wrenches, needle nose and so forth. Still has room for more without over loading the pockets. On the other side I have a volt meter, leads, wire strippers, cutters, coil brushes and again, still has room for more. I will say that the pockets are very wide and it seems like you have to shove ample tools in them to prevent the dreaded “tool flop” which I would much rather have excess room than not enough room but for some people who are buying the smaller version because they don’t have a lot of tools, tool flop could be an issue. Just buy more tools 🙂 I can’t find many negatives with this bag. This bag is a beast and I can tell it will last me a lifetime with proper care.

Tech MC bag is the best bag I have owned. I have the LC but far too heavy to carry all day long.
I decided on the MC over the MCT because I knew if I had the space I would fill it up.
I like the elastic on the back side pockets makes it easier to keep leads on the meter.
Features on this bag I dislike are the outside, side pockets. I don’t know if the sewing seam is off or it’s intentional, but I cannot even fit a pen in one of those pockets. The pocket it’s stitched to, I can fit 3 sharpies in. They aren’t deep enough for that big of an opening. Perhaps having an open bottom would be easier. I haven’t had any issues with zippers.
Things I’d like to see improved is at least 2” longer tape strap. Also the inside pockets on the side of the bags are a great idea, but on the MC there isn’t the height clearance to get a tool in there easily. Those should be stitched lower so the tool can make the radius of the top of bag and slide into the pocket. On my LC the taller bag, they work well. One of my favorite features of all the the veto bags I’ve used is the dead space between the formed pockets and the zippered flap. It allows small zippered bags to be tucked down in there securely without them falling out when main bag is unzipped. If the base was 1” wider and deeper it gives us that valuable space to turn it into an extra pocket. 4/5 stars because I’m hesitant to keep buying these bags that seem to have same layout.
Each Technician has specialized tools for their fields, adding the elastic meter pockets was a big plus and that alone when new on the market would have made this review 5 stars. I’d like to see the next evolution of this bag size/style before purchasing another Veto. For now I need to focus on buying quality tools that are lighter in weight!

Ok I’ve been in the business for 23 years doing all things HVAC all around the world and I’m here to tell you…this is the absolute BEST tool bag for the HVAC technician that you will EVER find! It’s not too small or too big. This bag fits all of my hand tools and multimeter. All my tools fit nicely and every tool has a “home”. Easy to see all your tools and quick access to each. I added a clear small foldable plastic fishing tackle box to this bag to hold small parts. All in all this is a great bag and by far my favorite of all time! If you’re looking for a GREAT bag with a small footprint that’ll hold all the tools you need, well then look no further the Tech MC is exactly what you need! Good job Roger 👏🏻!

I own several Veto Products, I use this product as my everyday maintenance bag, with my basic tools a small 12V battery drill and Multimeter, is light and easy to carry, could not recommend higher to serious technicians that are serious about their job!

Perfect size for small jobs. This is my one electrical job site bag which I use to store 20 or so hand tools, multi-meter, infrared thermostat, and snake. Everything stays in place within the bag zipped up after leaving bag in a variety of transport positions (upright/sideways/thrown around in back of truck). Shoulder strap is adjustable and comfortable. I use strap to sling around bag most of the time, leaving my hands free to schlep other stuff. Perfect bag to store all the essentials. Much more sturdy/well built then any other competition out there.

I had been looking for a smaller bag, and was using a Klein open top bag. saw the MC bag but it didn’t look quite what I was looking for (I am an HVAC Tech) then came along the Tech MC, it seemed to have everything I was looking for. I decided to splurge, seeing as this was my first VETO bag. I was definitely not disappointed. this is without a doubt the best bag I have owned in the thirty years I have been in the trade. Just the right size, and holds most of the tools I need.

I’ve been using the Tech-MC bag for close to a year now and it has held together very well. I can tell this bag is going to last me a long time. It’s just the right size to hold everything I need for my Tech job to work out in the field. Ive been in the trades for almost 40 years now.
Ive gone through countless bags,buckets,apprentices,milk crates,you name it.
This bag is an excellent solution to carry what I need
without all the extra space you just fill up with “might as well’s”
Used it for about a month now and wish I would have discovered Veto Pro Pac
Years ago.
We have high quality tools,why not a high quality tool bag
to carry and protect them.
The Tech MC along with my Tall MB2 can handle just about
any job I do. Yes,some jobs I need my18v Milwaukee drill box,
but for the most part,the 12v Milwaukee Impact driver is enough
and fits in either bag.

love this bag. I don’t mind making trips back and forth to my hvac service truck, but, this bag definitely makes it easier to transport all my tools. Its durable, sturdy and large enough for my tools and small enough that I don’t have to worry about paying for damages to a customers home.

WOW!! What can I say!! I have bought many different bags of different brands and none of them was just what I needed. This bag fit the bill perfectly! I certainly wish I had started with this bag. I spent more than the cost of this bag in other bags that now just collect dust. This bag holds exactly what I need and is convenient enough to get out of the van and carry on every call. I work for HVAC company. The one side holds all my immediate go to stuff including compact drill, meter, thermo coupler, and few hand tools. The other side carries all my “may need tools”. This bag is extremely tough and has strong carry handles and shoulder strap. It does come with a “strap” for electrical tape which I am not a fan of but Veto also sells the chain with t bar so I just purchased that and added it on. The customer service is also top notch. I purchased this straight through Veto so they went ahead and even filled out and submitted the warranty on this for me. There was also a special which was a TP4 tool pouch that I qualified for when purchasing this MC Tech Bag. Website says to fill out a form and send in to get the free bag, well, Veto went ahead and sent it with my order and I did not have to fill out and submit the form. Thank you Veto Pac!! You won’t regret going with a Veto Pac bag. The only slightly negative thing I could even say is that I did not receive any tracking info in regard to my order so I never knew when it was going to arrive and just had to wait with great anticipation each day hoping it was the day. I did receive emails of the order and that it had shipped but there was never any actual tracking info available.

Works well for me, I have it setup as my small service bag holds what I need to make most small repairs. I am a HVAC & stand by generator tech and I have a lot of tools I currently use 2 veto bags plus a milwaukee pack out system for all my tools, having the tech pac back pack and the tech mc I have been able to cut down on back issues as I am not getting any younger. They both seem to be holding up well compared to my previous back pack tool bag. Very happy with the purchase wish I had done it sooner but I was being cheap.

what a great awesome bag..I wish I found this bag when I started my trade as an electrician and not toward the end of it.., I would not have gone through about dozen bags, some wore out and others could not make work, bad purchases .. I grab this bag for service calls, it packs all the tools I need for those jobs.. Just got this one . I have 2 others from this company. all 3 bags are as advertised and meet my expectations. you get what you pay for with these bags. I see no reason why they won’t last a seriously long time. ..There is no such thing as the perfect bag for some of us . my work encounters a little of all trades. my workshop has many wannabe bags collecting dust. I purchased this bag after a great deal of looking at various bags. An elevator technician doing some service work at my place of employment had one of the bags similar to this one. I had to have one after seeing his, compact and plenty of space. I am glad I made this purchase, it is second to no one in craftsmanship. The wife purchased the Tech MC as an early xmas gift, because she saw all the review videos I would watch and how interested I was in th bag. All I can say is WOW. It’s incredible how many tools fit in such a small bag and how well made it is. I can easily tote it up a ladder and on a roof without any discomfort. Much easier than any other bag I’ve owned. The setup is also really convenient and it’s never a hassle getting tools in and out. As a HVACR Tech, I carry the essentials for service calls, troubleshooting and PM’s. Of course you can’t carry the whole truck in the bag, but you can stuff enough tools in it for a days work. I can fit all my screwdrivers, wrenches, meter, drill, etc. with no problem. I usually just carry the Tech MC on one shoulder and hang my digital manifold off the ring on the shoulder strap and have free hands to go up and down ladders. It’s a sweet little/huge bag. I highly recommend it.

Best tool bag I’ve purchased in a while. Rugged, waterproof bottom with a strong overall design. Plenty of room for my specific needs. The enclosed bag design helps keep my expensive tools protected from debri, dirt and the elements.

I purchased the tech-mc after my first veto bag a mb. After using the mb for a few weeks discovered that it was just a little too small for what I needed. Purchased the new bag and am very pleased. Holds all the tools that I require to do normal day to day routine maintenance without being too cumbersome. I look forward to more purchases as I have other storage needs. Great product good value. I was using a tool back pack
I was using a tool back pack but have changed positions and no longer have the need for a back pack and the heavy bag was beginning to wear on me. (also I’m 60 this year) I purchased the Tech/MC and it is perfect. The Tech/MC holds all the needed tools for troubleshooting and most repairs even smaller tools readily available and visible.

I have owned this product for several years now. I like the design and usefulness. Their warranty service is very good. But I am now on my second
tool bag and again the exact same failure. The plastic zippers cannot stand up to the constant use. Twice the same failure. Also, the clips on the belts break. I’m 28 yrs in the Hvac’r trades, my tools get a lot of use. I like the product but I do think they need to step up their game. These tool bags are not cheap to buy, and we all work hard for our money. I like the product but am very hesitant to buy again. There are several viable contenders on the market now, check all your options is all I can say. Regards Chris
