Similar to the MP1, the MP2 leather tool pouch is the same functional combination of the leather for the main body and 1200 denier polyester fabric tool pockets…but a bit larger. Also, sporting a \”flush mount\” stainless steel tape measure clip. And it offers the same quick and easy tool storage.

Keep the Zippers Clean & Lubricated
Over time, dirt and grit will “clog” the zipper coils preventing them from staying closed. To keep this from happening, clean and lubricate your zippers twice a year (more often if you work on a job site with a high amount of airborne debris). To clean the coils: Scrub them with soapy water; a tooth brush works very well. After scrubbing the coils, blow them out with an air hose to dislodge any other fine grit that didn’t dislodge with the brush. To lubricate the coils: Apply a silicone spray, beeswax or a zipper lubricant.
Protect the Zippers From Sharp Objects and/or Excessive Heat
Any sharp object or heat source is capable of permanently damaging the zippers. Once a zipper coil is cut or singed the zipper will not function and in most cases is not repairable. Most of the cut zipper coils we see are the result of sharp tools stored inside the bag with the sharp side facing up. Make sure to keep the sharp edges of your tools facing down in your bag and away from the zipper coils.
Don’t Overstuff the Bag
Overstuffing your tool bag will very likely cause significant stress on the zippers that is above and beyond what the bag was built for and will eventually cause the zipper(s) to separate. If you have to work hard to close your zipper(s), your tool bag is most likely overstuffed…proceed with caution!

I’ve been using mine daily for a few weeks now and I love it. It holds more than you’d think. Nothing falls out going up and down ladders. It’s made sturdy. The pocket flap is great, especially with winter coming, those that wear overalls or coveralls can have their tools without having to wear a full rig. The only thing I’d really add would be a couple of small pass though sleeves for longer ET screwdrivers.

After using multiple different pouches on the market and never being satisfied, I decided to go with the MP2. At first glance a little on the pricey side, however well worth the cash. First off, the quality and durability is what you know from veto. The design of this pouch is really where it shines. Every pocket is well placed and sized correctly to be used in multiple configurations. The ability to wear the pouch at different heights is a much more useful feature than I originally thought. This is by far the best pouch I’ve used and I highly recommend.

I have a tool backpack but was always stuffing my pockets with my most used tools. I looked at pouches for months looking for as close to perfect as possible.
It holds everything I use frequently and has one of the thru pockets open still.
I wasn’t sold on the flap on the back for going in your back pocket, but that is how I use it all the time. It won’t fall out.
For me, the two little pockets in the big pocket are useless. They neatly fold out of the way and I have side cutters + needlenose together in the big pocket. It would be nice if it was wide enough so those pockets fit pliers.
Could not be happier with this porches and am extremely impressed with the quality. Veto will be my tool bag of choice from now on!

Picked up the mp2 I had an mp1 but I wanted to be able to carry a few more tools. It’s a light weight pouch which I prefer if a tool pouch is to big it pulls my pants down even with a belt on. Very comfortable has a flap that goes in your pocket which I find helps in distributing the weight. High quality of course it’s veto. Love the pouch highly recommend for a small pouch

It is a great pouch to quickly load up and go to work with and for the size it hold a lot of stuff plus you can use it on either side of your body as the electrical tape holder can be clipped on either side of pouch using the d-rings, I would recommend to anyone that is looking for a quick grab and go pouch.

MP2 is an exceptionally well built minimalist tool pouch. This is a great tool pouch for diagnostic and simple repair base tool jobs especially when working on a ladder or in tight quarters. I carry electrical specialty tools in this pouch and coaxial tools in my MPL1 pouch. They both ride on the D rings on my TECH XL bag for easy access and the snap on belt strap makes wearing these pouches very efficient and improves work flow.

The MP2 is my everyday pouch now and it definitely makes life a lot easier , to not carry around my MCT to every location I work at daily. This pouch is nice and lightweight but extremely durable with the leather backing and belt loop . It holds a decent amount of common hand tools for my job as a electrician so it could be useful for a variety of trades . The MP2 is definitely a product I don’t regret one bit for buying , don’t know how I went without a pouch for so long . Highly recommend for trades who carry their common tools in their pockets to get on a roof , ladder etc or just work in multiple locations throughout a building! This is the second VETO product I own and can’t wait to see what they release in the future !

So I’ve been in the electrical field for 10 plus years now and I have had many tool belt pouches but none of them have struck me as a keeper like this MP2. I’ve had and have gone through several of the basic 4 pocket pouches (made by others) and have relied on those over the years cause nothing else seemed to work, between tools not fitting right and the material just not lasting with the day to day work abuse. NOW I can honestly say that the MP2 is the best tool pouch I’ve ever owned. Holds everything perfectly, comfortable, well thought out, and built to last!

This is an excellent pocket pouch. It has been my every day pouch for about 6 months and I have no complaints. The construction is of the highest quality, as we’ve all come to expect from Veto Pro Pack, and the consequent durability is such that it still looks great after tough daily use. The pockets are sized appropriately, they’re in the right places, and there are enough of them to hold all of my pocket tools with room to interchange task-specific tools as needed. Overall, I highly recommend this product.

PS: This is not an indictment or a drawback of the MP2, but it would be great if I could get a bag for storage and transport. If anyone from Veto is reading along, I’d like to propose a companion bag for the pocket pouches. The MB2 Tall Meter bag would be an excellent model for a new bag as it’s almost big enough to store and carry the MP2, it just needs a few inches of width and depth to make it happen.
