Veto Pro Pac Tool Bags Product Care and Maintenance

Keep the Zippers Clean & Lubricated

Over time, dirt and grit will “clog” the zipper coils preventing them from staying closed. To keep this from happening, clean and lubricate your zippers twice a year (more often if you work on a job site with a high amount of airborne debris). To clean the coils: Scrub them with soapy water; a tooth brush works very well. After scrubbing the coils, blow them out with an air hose to dislodge any other fine grit that didn’t dislodge with the brush. To lubricate the coils: Apply a silicone spray, beeswax or a zipper lubricant.

Protect the Zippers From Sharp Objects and/or Excessive Heat

Any sharp object or heat source is capable of permanently damaging the zippers. Once a zipper coil is cut or singed the zipper will not function and in most cases is not repairable. Most of the cut zipper coils we see are the result of sharp tools stored inside the bag with the sharp side facing up. Make sure to keep the sharp edges of your tools facing down in your bag and away from the zipper coils.

Don’t Overstuff the Bag

Overstuffing your tool bag will very likely cause significant stress on the zippers that is above and beyond what the bag was built for and will eventually cause the zipper(s) to separate. If you have to work hard to close your zipper(s), your tool bag is most likely overstuffed… proceed with caution!

Awesome bag. Has all my diagnostic tools. So easy to grab and go when I don’t need everything. I leave it attached to my tech pac mc so it’s always at my finger tips.

Top notch bag! Great for quick in and out jobs. Would love to see future MB bags to include the following modifications:
-both front Velcro pockets could extend more at the bottom of the pouch instead of tapering. This would also allow for a deeper base for the bag to stand without falling over.
-Add a small plastic base similar to the MB3B if possible

I’ve used this bag for about 3 years now as my PM bag. Don’t need everything for maintenance. It’s dirty but it still works perfect. I have some buddies that get by with this as their everyday bag.

I originally purchased a cheap bag as an every day carry with a meter and small tools to help diagnose issues before I went and got my larger too bag. I got a $20 amazon bag that fell apart after about 2 months. This Veto Pro Pac bag is amazing. It has way more pockets and functionality. The material is sturdy and will last a long time. Plus it has the huge benefit of being able to quickly attach to my TP-XXL.

Fantastic. I use mine as a kit to carry all my stuff for data terminations. As it’s something I don’t do every day, and I’m often just doing a few terminations, this bag is the perfect size to hold a Klein Scout and remote ends, rj11/45 crimping tool, rg6 crimp, punchdown tool, strippers, a few hand tools, connectors and tape. I am way more organized and efficient using it.

I debated knocking off a star because of price/value. It’s a really great bag, but they retail for $100 CDN. This seems like less value when compared to an MP1 at $110 CDN. I feel like it would be a home run if it was $10-15 less.

This is a great little bag. I got the mct for my first bag and not a week later I purchased this bag to go with it. I mainly use this bag to take specific tools I need for a certain job so I don’t have to carry as much with me. Amazing quality ofcourse and this bag is capable of holding an impressive amount for its size. These bags are addicting and I am already looking for my 3rd.

I keep my fluke megger in this bag. It’s the only bag I’ve found that keeps and protected and has space extra lead that doesn’t feel like your cramming them into it.

I am a plumber/HVAC service guy, and this is my favorite bag I’ve ever purchased. I use this bag for hand tools I use on every job, such as my 2 pairs of channel locking pliers/pump pliers, my 15-in-1, my nut drivers, my tubing cutters, PEX cutters, wire strippers, wire crimpers, my drill bits and so much else. A wise investment for sure!

This is by far the best tool
This is by far the best tool bag I’ve ever had, I work as a commercial service HVAC tech and this fits everything I need for diagnostics and with the help of my Tech LC I have it all. I currently have 3 Veto bags and I’m waiting on two more in the mail. I’ve got the Tech LC, MB, and MCT. I’m waiting on the Tech Pac and TP3B in the mail. I’m currently using the Tech LC and MB combo out in the field and utilizing my MCT at home for misc. woodworking and plumbing until I get my Tech Pac and TP3B in the mail. I’ve had CLC, Klein, Milwaukee backpacks and I was always unsatisfied(with quality, tool storage design, customer service, zippers), my advice to anyone looking at these in comparison to the competition is to just go ahead and shell out a few more dollars and get the right bag from the go, you won’t be disappointed.

I purchased the TECH XL and the MB at the same time. These are my first go with Veto and I’m pretty sure I have found my brand. I’ve always used Klein bags but they just haven’t held up that well. These Veto bags seem bullet proof and super well thought out. I can’t find a single thing to complain about with these products and I’m sure they will last me for many years to come. Next up is the TP3 or TP4 and maybe the parts bags, I think I’m hooked!

Got this bag as a promo item
Got this bag as a promo item when i bought my tech lc. Been in the field with me for 2 years. Became my “go-to” bag for under house or attic repairs. The zippers went south after 2 years. Sent it in for repair and received a new bag. How can a tech not buy these bags! My tools are my lively hood and these bags protect them like fort Knox. I will never consider another brand of tool bag as long as they stay in business.

I purchased this bag to keep my Fluke meter, Fluke laser measurement tool and calculator in. It works perfect and has room for a few screwdriver, stripper, etc. My only complaint is that I wished this bag had a flat plastic bottom like the big bags do. This is a major failing of all of the smaller bags they make. I also own a TP4 which would also be exceptional if it had a flat bottom. Who wants the bag laying on its side when it could be upright and would be waterproof if standing in water which we occasionally have in Oregon ….

I work in a large facility as the Facilities Manager. My responsibilities are many from A to Z. I was always looking for the right combination to carry what I need on a daily basis. This LC bag is it, and now the search is over! The LC carries everything I need and then some. I also use the Veto Meter Bag and Meter Pouch, which I keep one clipped to the tape measure holder on one end of the LC and the other is clipped in the small pen holder pouch on the other side of the LC. This way I can customize what I may need for a specific task. Veto Products are top notch and well thought out.The overall construction and durability are well worth the price point.

    I am a chief engineer at a
I am a chief engineer at a large federal office building complex in DC and someone had stolen my fluke bag that had my 87v’s amp clamp in it when I was using my meter. So while I was I was at the supply house instead instead of getting another $300 amp clamp I picked up a fluke 325, amp clamp with meter, and this bag. Best thing I ever did! I don’t get out in the field much anymore The zippered part holds my 87v and 325 along with 3 sets of leads, alligator probes, and 2 thermometer probes, velcro part holds my 1/4, 3/8, 5/16 nut drivers, stripper/crimpers, service wrench, SAE and Metric allen sets, AND Liebert cabinet wrench. On one side I have my tape measure, klein 11n1, and flashlight. The other side holds my fieldpiece thermometer and thermostat screwdrivers. The front pouch has my valve core tool, service wrench hex adapter and various jumpers. I keep a few different colors of electric tape in the loop they provide. My lockout/tagout now keeps the zippered part secured. My fluke 62 infrared thermometer hooks to one of the top D rings and attached a small klein zippered bag to the other D ring with a carabiner. I modified this bag so that it can seperately carry common terminal connectors and wire nuts that are typically used throughout my buildings. Like I said earlier, I don’t get out in the field very often anymore but when the guys need me this usually gets the job done. Next time I’m at the supply house I’ll definitely be buying a veto bag to replace my current one for the rest of my tools!

Bought this so I wouldn’t have to take a full toolbag to diagnose a unit, and can use this pretty much on a lot of calls. Have my ammeter, hex wrenches, two adjustables, 1/4″ and 5/16″ nut drivers, linesmen pliers, needle nose, connector crimper, wire strippers, zip ties, non contact voltage detector, mirror, nut driver bits for 12 volt driver, and electrical tape.

I have other Vetos, and I tend to overload them. Because of my job I started having severe back issues that resulted in a serious surgery. My smallest Veto was tipping the scales at 45 lbs. So walking 2 blocks to a 3 story walk-up in the city with my service bag 5 weeks after surgery was starting to suck. I found this wonderful little pouch. It is the perfect diagnostic bag. I now use this on all my service work and save the two OTs for installations. The best part, not only can it carry all the basics in it but you can clip it to any other Veto and carry them all together. Great when scaling a 40ft ladder
