The MC tool bag is small, lightweight and perfect tool organizer for troubleshooting, diagnostics and job specific setups and offers 20 interior and exterior pockets for handling tools, meters, and a compact cordless drill/driver compartment.

The MC tool bag allows technicians and contractors the ability to set up multiple job specific bags that can also feed out of our LC, XL or XXL-F size bags. Veto Pro Pac Tool Bags Product Care and Maintenance

Keep the Zippers Clean & Lubricated

Over time, dirt and grit will “clog” the zipper coils preventing them from staying closed. To keep this from happening, clean and lubricate your zippers twice a year (more often if you work on a job site with a high amount of airborne debris). To clean the coils: Scrub them with soapy water; a tooth brush works very well. After scrubbing the coils, blow them out with an air hose to dislodge any other fine grit that didn’t dislodge with the brush. To lubricate the coils: Apply a silicone spray, beeswax or a zipper lubricant.

Protect the Zippers From Sharp Objects and/or Excessive Heat

Any sharp object or heat source is capable of permanently damaging the zippers. Once a zipper coil is cut or singed the zipper will not function and in most cases is not repairable. Most of the cut zipper coils we see are the result of sharp tools stored inside the bag with the sharp side facing up. Make sure to keep the sharp edges of your tools facing down in your bag and away from the zipper coils.

Don’t Overstuff the Bag

Overstuffing your tool bag will very likely cause significant stress on the zippers that is above and beyond what the bag was built for and will eventually cause the zipper(s) to separate. If you have to work hard to close your zipper(s), your tool bag is most likely overstuffed…proceed with caution!

    I have purchased two MC Compact tool bags, both are high quality. I utilize these bags in my trucks, they hold all the essential tools needed for repairs at remote sites.     The MC is my latest everyday carry bag. I have upgraded up to it from the MB2 and MB and find its just perfect for what I need. I needed more room but it had to be small and light once loaded so the MC really works perfect for that. I also liked the tech MC but figured with the extra pockets I would end up carrying more than what I need so this one prevents me from doing that. The meter storage section of it works perfect for all the meters I need on a daily basis and the tool section holds a lot of tools, actually more than what I need so I have to try and keep things light. Love this bag.

    I love this bag. It carries my all needed tools my Fluke 117 and some odds and ends. I did have an issue with the bag though, the spring on the shoulder strap clip popped out but the issue was resolved promptly. The service exceded my expectations. I will recommend this bag to all my co workers as i feel it is the only bag they will ever need…PERIOD.

    Great little bag for HVAC service, carries what I need, I clip the MB on it with my meter and such. No issues, sturdy, wide base doesn’t tip over, not too bulky which is better, limits you from carrying crap you don’t need! I have used for over a year now in multiple seasons.

    So far the bag meets expectations. I work in the wind industry field and it’s a perfect size to go up tower for troubleshooting and repair. Everything that I need fits in the bag. I wish I could have the guts to drop it from a 300 ft / 90 meters height to see what happens. I’m pretty sure it would survive the fall. Receive lots of compliments!! Super nice bag.

    After trying other good, solid, well-built bags that you can pick up at your local hardware store, I finally bought a MC bag. This bad is a revelation in what a supremely made product can be like. The built quality is phenomenal, the organization is really great, but what really stands out to me is the balance of the bad, something I don’t think I’ve seen other reviewers taking about. When you pick up this bag and walk with it the balance is so amazing that it almost disappears from your perception. It’s like it’s become 1/10th the weight it actually is. Something about the design makes this bag a dream to carry.

    The bag fits my needs for appliance repair perfectly. I stepped down from the Tech LC to this MC. There are a few things I would change and do miss daily. 1.bag only has small rings. Swapping out one small rings on the outside for a large ring will allow people to hang flashlights from the bag, I’ll have to DIY this. 2. expandable pockets. The LC has pockets that are elastic and I found them very forgiving while sliding in tools. The MC doesn’t have this. Just makes it a bit more difficult to get tools in 3. Add small tool bit holders that are again elastic on the inside flap of the tool bag for bits and spare meter leads.

    The MC bag is the perfect size for HVAC service. I have an XL bag but it is very heavy and large for trips into attics. I was using an electrician tool belt for attic services but I kept dropping tools because of the open top. With the MC it’s small enough for attic but large enough to carry all necessary tools used everyday. Only bad thing is no tape hanger included and the included carrying strap has no pad and is very uncomfortable after a few minutes so I have to switch to the XL strap when I have to get far from van. I love the Veto bags but it seems they are cutting corners by not including tape hanger and padded strap, $112 for a tool bag is a lot of money after all.

    What i like:
    It fits all the tools needed including a can of air, can of Smoke and label maker…. I find it keeps me super organized, I found the perfect use for all the pockets. In my case there are no un-used or functionally awkward(aka i wish this was bigger) pockets. Not only is it durable & functional i think it also looks very professional which is good if you work with high end clients or are otherwise image conscious. (I like that its not bright red/ yellow and looks like i bought it from home depot lol). I like all the exterior rings to attach things, i attach my headlamp, keys, tape and other items. I also attach the kline bag 5143 to the side and use it for all my wire trimmings, label maker tape, dead battery’s and other random trash. its the perfect fit and helps keep things clean.
    What i dislike:
    The fact that it lacks a secure place for a tape measure still baffles me beyond belief. I clip mine on the outside small “ID” pocket, but its prone to falling off. Also i feel it needs to come with the electrical tape strap as standard equipment. While not a design fault of the bag itselfi do wish it had a place for small parts-Such as screws, battery’s, wire-nuts Etc.
    Ive Tried a lot of bags in the past and was never happy with any of them, mostly layout and functionality. I will likely be a loyal Veto customer for life. I already bought the smaller tote which holds all my bigger tools, wires and parts for when i do larger jobs/installs. Its pricey but well worth it.

    The MC is amazing. I’m an industrial electrician, mechanic, and a tool junky. Someone mentioned about the quality of Veto’s material going downhill in recent years, but I suspect they got a tool bag that somehow dodged Quality Control. The MC carries my most commonly used tools, and my XXL-F carries the power tools, larger tools, and tools I’m not using every ten minutes. Both bags are incredible. Before the XXL-F, I had a very large Husky tool bag. When I finally decided to spend the money on the XXL-F, I doubted it could hold the tools my Husky did, because I couldn’t even close that tool bag it was so overloaded. Surprisingly, Veto made it happen. It feels good to be able to close my tool bag at the end of the day. I feel like a slob using anything other than Veto now 😛 Veto Pro-Pac is the Rolls Royce of tool bags.

    The bag itself is constructed well and am fairly happy with it. I wish it were a little bigger and am extremely unhappy with the strap. For a bag that is twice as expensive as any other bag I’d ever purchased, it should come with the padded strap that can be purchased seperately.

    This is my second bag now from Veto and continue to be amazed by their product. This bag is perfect for fitting all my hand tools for Fiber optic installations.     Great little tool bag, same good quality as ever on veto. I am a bit of an OCD generally and want to to able to get something with my eyes closed out of everything I own (the whole house normally, that is until my wife starts moving my stuff and then I look for it and swear 5 minutes before I ask her where it is). That goes the same with my tools in my toolbag. This bag gave me the chance to have my tools properly organised and it holds exacltly enough tools for my job and when I need something I could get it with my eyes closed as all tools are exactly in the same place all of the time. RIGHT ON!!! Someone complained on one of the reviews for the lack of outside little pockets for drill bits. Most companies buy drill bits in bulk and they come in packs of 10 or more in a plastic box/holder. I would suggest get one of those in one of the indide pockets of the MC bag to hold all drill bits needed. Problem solved.

    I am another happy HVAC/R TECH that uses this MC as a service bag. I do not use all of the pockets, but the bag is light and enclosed. Most of my work is crawling in attics working on heat pumps or on refer boxes. This is a handy bag, small and fully enclosed. No tools snagging on conduit and such as you crawl to the next unit. I have an LC that sits in the passenger side of the service van, another great bag but not handy for the crawl. This bag is well made even with a Made in China tag on it.

    This bag should come with a shoulder strap and not as an accessory.

    No other company that I know of has this type of repair/return/replace policy – If ( and that’s a Strong IF ) the bag rips , the Customer doesn’t have to wait 2-3 weeks for it to be repaired/replaced – The Customer deals directly with VETO, Not the Wholesaler – From a Wholesalers point of view, this is a good thing.

    Exactly what I needed for my
    Exactly what I needed for my HVAC and DDC control system work, I can easily cary two meters and a nice selection of hand tools. Less frequently needed tools will be moved to my LC bag. This one will accompany me into tight spaces and above ceilings. This one has the same tough bottom LC, so I can rest easy my gear will be safe. It makes a great task specific bag.

    A great bag for service work. Holds a lot, is very durable, but with it’s small size is light enough to carry by hand on and off the job site. The only draw back is that it doesn’t come with a shoulder strap, which would be very handy for climbing ladders. If it came with a shoulder strap, I would have given it 5 stars.

    I am an Industrial electrician, and I do mostly on call troubleshooting “fire calls”. I really would like to love this bag, but I just can’t with the way it came equipped. I did not know the strap on this bag was not of the same quality as my much larger Tech XL. The two inch wide strap is nice for distributing wait, but it slips off constantly without the grippy pad my other bag came with. Can be purchased from here. There is no electrical tape strap. Also an extra purchase found here. Lastly there is no place to clip a tape measure onto the outside, a little annoying. Lastly it could use a d-ring higher up on the bag. When I clip my hot gloves on the d-rings provided and set my bag down, the hot glove bag is sitting on the floor. Let me tell you there are some places where I work I would not like setting anything on the floor. Which is why I like the hard bottom of this bag. I bought site unseen because I liked my other bag so much. This one falls a bit short me.

    I received the MC about 3 weeks ago and have been very pleased. I am an instrument technician and the MC holds enough tools and a Fluke 789 without getting too heavy. The only thing that I would change is the shoulder strap to one that is a little more padded and has a buckle in the middle. The fold down sides make getting tools convenient and the hard bottom lets it standup without having to worry about it falling over.

    This is our first purchase as we decided on the MC unit and it has exceeded our expectations. We were formerly using another bag that always tilted over and this is just what we needed. We are able to hold the essential tools that we need and this bag stays in the upright position. We are also able to place some of our test tools that we use in the bag that we use on a regular basis. If possible we would like to see an attachment for a tape measure, a sheath for a wallboard saw and a tape strap. In spite of that it is the best bag that we have ever purchased.

    Like a lot of other guys and some gals, I’ve tried probably 30 bags in 40 years. I never was what you would say, totally satisfied with any of them. Some are good quality in craftsmanship, but always lacked something. Mainly, most bag makers, do not have tool pockets – or enough of them. Your stuff gets settled on the bottom and really just becomes an overpriced duffle bag of sorts.

    I am the Master Electrician for the US Army installations in Kuwait and I needed a smaller bag to carry enough tools to conduct inspections and work compliancy for the Corps of Engineers. This bag is perfect for that mission and even though I carry my meter in a separate Klein meter bag, the MC is able to carry more than an adequate amount of hand tools, etc.
    And rides in a chopper nice and compact.

    Guys and Gals, do yourself a favor . . . get a Veto bag! Why spend money every year on bags, boxes, buckets, pouches, that you really did not like or knew in the end, they would be back home in the garage and you’re out looking for another “system” to carry your stuff. The only thing bad I will say about Veto stuff is, it is so well made that I’ll end up buying other tool bags from Veto to tailor them to different tasks. In other words, “I’m hooked” on Veto now.

    I had a good shoulder strap with a padded shoulder from another bag, which I use when walking in a facility. Should be standard equipment on this bag. I know I’m getting one because I filled out warranty card but would be good to have it out of the gate.

    But a great little bag that’s bigger than you think.

    I do electrical controls troubleshooting and it’s got all the room I need.

    There could be some improvements in adding some external pockets for pens or small pads, and these same things hold true for inside the bag, but I’ll get over it.

    I checked out the Veto Line sometime back,but with the price and what I needed really wasn’t there.
    Then I run across this MC bag recently , I had been pretty frustrated with my open top hand carry tool pouch that is unbalanced and always falling over,with tools falling out. The MC looked to be set up pretty much like I wanted. So I ordered it. I’m glad I did I’ve been using it a couple weeks now and really like it, I’ve not seen any other bags out there built or set up like these. Now I did deduct one star, because they fell just a little short. I would have liked a few things on the outside like the small pockets for markers and pens. Also the tape measure clip, or other straps to be able to clip or hang additional meter bags or what ever. I’m sure they will improve it to be perfect and call it MC2.
    But I am pleased with it and thanks for building a quality product for professionals.

    Finally got the new MC! It’s definitely worth the money as are all Veto bags. I started my Veto collection with the LC during my electrical apprenticeship. When I became licensed and could afford more tools, I had to upgrade to the XL. The LC was reallocated to home use and stuffed with tools, just like my XL. I added aTP4 to my arsenal to carry tools while climbing up and down ladders and then a CT-LC tote to carry all my material and power tools. Eventually I started running jobs and was on the tools less and less. There were still occasions where I needed to do an odd job here and there which resulted in me needing yet another perfect bag! The MC has a ton of storage in a really small footprint. It carries everything I need for any small job I came across. Screwdrivers, wrenches, pliers, cutters, bits, extensions, flashlight, a gyroscopic screwdriver and even my clamp meter (with room to spare). Of course there’s always the added bonus of being able to zip and lock it all up (I run a lock through the zipper holes and then through the D-ring). I don’t have to worry about people grabbing the odd tool. With everything zipped up, people have no clue what I have in there. I love it. I almost want to change my job title again just so I can buy another bag. Keep up the great work guys. I look forward to your next innovative idea.

    Like many of you I’ve had numerous tool bags and back packs. A friend of mine who works in the commercial HVAC field had the LC bag which really got my attention. I soon after started shopping online, mostly Amazon and Ebay and saw the smaller MC bag. I liked the idea of the lighter weight bag however was concerned about the fewer pockets the MC has. After I received the bag I was more concerned however to my surprise I was able to get most all of my tools neatly in the bag and the overall weight was very manageable. The next day I sit my bag in the back of my SUV and hit a curve a little too fast and the tool bag took off and rolled several times from front to back and then forward again. The first thing that came to mind was that I had all of those darn tools to orgainize in the bag again but very much to my surprise when I opened the bag, NOT ONE TOOL WAS OUT OF PLACE! NOT ONE! Very Cool Veto! Like some of you, I wish the bag had the poly handle to help secure the bag but still happy with the current one and a clip for a tape measure would have been nice too. The bags may be a little costly to some people however if you want to have a superior quality and very well designed tool bag to quickly access and protect those expensive tools of yours, GET THE BAG! At least for me, the MC is very universal and easy to manage and I see many of you feels the same. I’m seriously considering one of the larger bags for my home tools as well which will help orgainize my tool bench. Had I previously known about the Veto bags, I could have saved a lot of money by not buying various tool bags, back packs and tool boxes in the search for the right tool bag but I think most of us do. If you decide to go “Veto”, just do the research on all of their bags to make sure you purchase the bag that’s right for your needs. Bottom line, do I recommend Veto Pro products like the MC bag? You must have missed the part where I previously said, GET THE BAG! 🙂

Ive converted a lot of guys in my HVAC/R trade, and only now its paying off, as one has purchased the back pac and I can put my hands on!! As far as the MC goes, its just big enough for my meter, and a few essential tools to service rooftops, without dragging the LC up a ladder. I need a way to store small loose items such as drill bits, small hex wrenches, hand taps, and precision screwdrivers. Perhaps optional zippered storage bags that velcro to the inside open flap could be offered? 2. The MC’s handle can get a bit slippery. Perhaps a molded grip on the underside of the handle would help? For $100 the MC is head and shoulders above the competition.

The mc bac is my primary bag that stores everytool I need for troubleshooting and pms. Quick easy acesss and light weight. This bag fits in any locker or cabinet. Perfect for service calls. I used to use an open mouth type bag, but it quickly became a “garbage bag” If I didn’t clean it out once a week or so, it became so heavy and filled with bits and pieces from every job. I have the Pro Tech Pac back pack which i love but its kinda big and I don’t always need all that stuff and this little bag has most of the same features and the same quality construction in a compact package that is perfect for trouble shooting or light duty jobs. I was surprised just how much I managed to fit into it.

    My only gripes are that i wish i didnt have to mail in for the shoulder strap, i wish it had the tape measure clip found on the larger bags, and I wish they had thrown in one of those electrical tape strap. these are minor issues and 2 of them have very simple solutions. Its an excellent addition to my tool collection!

    No Veto you need to make a small tech backpack and I will be the first to pick it up!

I don’t do installation work at all, so I have been finding my Tech LC bag was getting a bit heavy for roof hatches and long climbs up ships ladders and that so wanted a smaller bag. The MC is the perfect size I’m finding. Keeps my assortment of tools I need on a regular basis organized and right where I need them. Plus I can fit in my small 12v impact gun so it’s great. Plus it’s great being able to sit the pouch on a roof without worrying if the snow or water will wreck all my tools.

    Overall a great bag for service work. I have used a lot of pouches in the last 8 years and have never been able to find one that fits all my needs.

    The Tech LC has replaced my noisy big Mastercraft tool box as my main tool storage, and the MC is now my regular day to day pouch. Great job on this one guys!

    I work on the tube in London and am usually walking long distances with my tools slung over my shoulder.The MC is a little smaller and less heavy than the others but still made of the same quality.
    So if like me you need a Fluke meter and the usual mix of hand tools then this bag is spot on.
    I bought from a local dealer in the uk and had great service.The bag doesn’t come with a strap but all you do is register with Veto and they send you one for free and quickly to.
    When are they going to start making luggage ?

    Veto did it again with this bag. PERFECT size to go along with the TP4 pouch when you need to get the right amount of tools to the roof without breaking your back. I have the XL for larger tools, the Tech LC for drill/driver/batteries and connectors/screws. The MC holds frequently used hand tools, instruments, leak detector and 12v driver and the TP4 for the goto hand tools. I take one load to the call and rarely have to make second trip to truck. Can it get any better?
    Maybe Veto will come out with a foldable cart/hand truck to match up to these bags to complete the “system”…

    How could you screw up what has been a standard in all your bags?
    No inner/outer zippered pockets for small items (drill bits, jumper wires, small screwdriver kits for precision work, or anything else for that matter).
    Want to like this bag so much as the size is great, yet that lack of detail makes it worthless to me and I’m not throwing those items in the bottom or stuffing them in one of the pouches as that defeats the entire purpose of these bags.
    The room is there to be a mini tech lc, so add them and I’ll happily rebuy one.

    Veto has done it again. The MC is a great new tool bag in my arsenal perfect for holding all the essential tools for my Home Inspection business while not being cumbersome in the least. I use to use the LT-OC, but now it sits in the truck storing the less used tools of my trade just in case I need them. The design is perfect. It is tough to tip over and has a built in “hinge” on the zippable covers that allows access without being fully open. I highly recommend this bag if you are doing service calls or are just tired of carrying around your whole tool box. For the price it is a great investment that may turn you on to the other great products Veto produces. I will recommend this to everyone and have even had a few contractors raise an eyebrow and ask about it. Nice work, Veto. Keep it up! (FYI This bag does not come with a shoulder strap, but if you register and send them and electronic proof of purchase they will send you one for free.)

    I was using a clc 75 pocket backpack. I then picked up the mc and thought not a bad price for the warranty you get with it. I was surprised at what it could hold and do to ots size easy it was to get in a small spot. My clc is currently a bad to hold all my wrenches were this is now my service bag. I like this bag so much I plan on getting another twon one for ac one for refrigeration and one for watermakers. This is by far the best bag I have ever bought. I recomend this to eveyone.

    I am happy to see by reading the other reviews that I am not alone, having tried many other bags. I also have other VETO bags. XL, MB, and Backpack, and now MC. I use the MC for service calls and the other bags if additional tools are needed. In addition to the other great features mentioned in the previous reviews, the things that I find outstanding compared to other manufacturer’s bags are, superior construction, and OPERATION OF THE ZIPPER. No more struggling to close the zipper or having to use two hands. Even when I add an occasional tool to an already full MC bag, there always seems to be room for one more tool and the zipper closes easily. With the other manufacturer’s bag there was always more of a struggle closing the zipper, needing two hands, even more so when trying to add another tool to the bag. Somehow the design of the bag, the zipper itself, and the design of the zippered flaps make it easy to close the bag no matter how full it is.

The handle it has is great however.     I am a self employed plumber in Tallahassee,Florida and found Veto Pro Pac online while looking for a new tool bag. Ive had tool bags from CLC, AWP, Bucket Boss, and Klien, and have never found a bag that I didnt have problems with. I first ordered the TP4 but returned it because it was a bit small for me. Next I ordered the MC and it is without a doubt, the best service tool bag I have ever owned. The vertical layout of pockets is perfect and staggered so that when you unzip the bag everything is visable and easy to reach. The design, and quality of this bag is levels above anything else ive seen. If you are proud of what you do and care about your tools, buy one.

Now with the MC I have just what I need.I would definitely recommend this to HVAC techs, appliance repair techs and anyone wanting a quality tool bag.

    This bag is by far my most favorite Veto bag to this date. I have just about every model made (no joke)(except Laptop bags), and this is the bag I will use the most. I still use my Tech LC, Backpack, and totes on regularly, but the MC gets the most use because its the perfect size for troubleshooting, maintenance and minor repairs. Its easy to carry and holds just the right amount of tools. The TP3 was really nice and close to being the right size but just couldn’t work for what I needed it for. The Tech LC, or LC, is just a bit to large for what I need it for most, but I do use it for larger repairs or installations. I would highly recommend this bag to all HVAC Service Techs or those who don’t use many tools, or use a lot of multi-tools. You can’t beat the quality and price!!
